A330-300 Fleet Overview

AC currently has two configurations of 333:

Dream Cabin (16 aircraft): Latest 3-class configuration in line with the 787 and 777 fleets (seat map)
The "Merlions" (2 aircraft): ex-Singapore Airlines 2-class configuration (seat map), which are expected to be reconfigured to the Dream Cabin.
- Important note: the front cabin on these aircraft is an angle-flat product in a 2-2-2 layout that was SQ's "regional" business class. On flights within North America, AC sells it as J; on international flights, they sell it as PY. These aircraft do not have the standard AC PY cabin
- Since October 2023, these aircraft primarily operate YYZ>BOG>YUL triangle, and YUL<>LAX.

Well, this FIN wasn't as worn down and dilapidated as previous Lions I flew on back in 2019.
No duct tape to hold up falling panels, no weird / nasty stains, no gum stains, etc.
But as usual, the no air vent thing made it quite suffocating and sweaty in J. My seatmate felt the same. The staff did turn the temperature down after a few complaints, but it was still stuffy warm.

I was telling another FTer the other day of being able to get a strong waft of the cabin's pleather/leather scent while entering the jetway bridge during boarding.

Not looking forward to fly these on AC-deemed fartlick routes.
Looking forward to them being all DreamCabin'd.
Not looking forward to sitting in a DreamCabin'd 333 in J, especially if it were swapped in to replace any other AC widebody type.
