Just purchased an LMU for a flight tomorrow. Would anyone be able to answer the following?
1, If I had previously purchased a preferred seat, will this fee be automatically refunded or do I have to request a refund?
2, With regards to baggage fees and weight, if flying business to the USA from Canada, are first two bags of a maximum 70lbs weight free? Since I bought an LMU, business baggage rules apply?
3, Is access to the MLL included?
Thanks for the help!

I'm on EWR-YVR, Tango fare and paid to select row 14. Will I see the offer at check in? Is any credit given to already paying to upgrade into those seats, even if not technically PY? I could justify $350-400 for that upgrade...is that a reasonable expectation of offer, or should I simply be happy with the PY quality row on 787?

According to AC Reservations standard seat fees are non refundable but preferred seat fees are. You can always try after the trip by filling in a form and seeing if they refund the fee. I know if you purchase an LMU and have preferred seat the fee is automatically refunded by the system.
I could see money being better spent elsewhere but it's not my money

Lounge access is available if there is a lounge at your departure airport. Pretty sure luggage is too, odd how AC neglects to list this though.
Pretty much the only thing you don't get from an LMU vs buying P is extra AQM, any changes are also as per original ticket and you can end up lower down in the meal list. Can't recall what happens in IRROPs, but likely a refund.

Maybe they're experimenting with TOD offers like the US 3.

I don't think I've ever seen an LMU that low, not even on the YYZ-NYC legs which is a similar length. In fact I can't think of many routes that are shorter and offer multiple cabins.
