The $116.20 should go away.

Dream on.

It's not Aeroplan that's giving up on anything. Rather, it is AC that is willing to sell these seats to them and not charging YQ.

In other words, it is part of AC's costs associated with their FF program. Offset to some extent by the cancellation of the no fees change. Which Aeroplan must have charged AC outrageously for. So AC found another approach to (hopefully from their perspective) appease SEs, that may be ultimately more effective, without being more (or much more) costly to AC.

We are.

Not sure where this is coming from. I've said before I can't disclose the details of the often complex and unique tripartite agreements, but I will say it's not as simple as this.

Now 00:01 Eastern. I still cannot book my international reward.

"Summary" continues coming out blank.

Anyway, time to go to bed.

I'm still getting YQ on transborder.

But it's still February over on the left coast.

My Summary sections and "review" pages come out, but still have YQ an AC metal.

12:15 and still surcharge on an all AC itinerary to Europe.

I wonder what their plans are for the waiver to be in effect?

My guess will be at around 4am or 5am EST. Reason is because that is usually the time when I can book those new seats that release after midnight. Whenever I tried to book them at 12:01am, I get an error. Then around 4am to 5am, that is when I can finally book them.

"Our web site is down for routine maintenance and will be unavailable until 11:00 GMT."

Could this be it?

Either that or there was already some major glitch lol. Just glad I didn't stay up until some crazy hour to wait for it.

I really wish the YQ could be explained, or at least assured that it won't just be removed from AC flights and applied to all others. Hell I'd even love to know where it goes, or how it's decided to which airlines it applies...just a nugget .

Sorry I can't help on the matter gang, I may know lots of the inner workings but the business side I know nothing haha.
