No pictures of this one because I use my phone for this.

Stick your smartphone to the seatback (or on the screen) using the 3M picture hanging strips: http://www.command.com/3M/en_US/comm...4774739&rt=rud

They remove easily and leave no marks and two is usually enough to hold up your phone to watch movies/tv without craning your head down the whole flight.

They also come in handy to mount your phone in rental cars etc.

It looks like DFW-YYZ would likely be pretty close.

No clue what I'll be doing in 7 years, but I'm in

I'm in too.

We would need to figure out which side of the plane to be on too.

Oh! I am totally in!

This blog explains how Alaska adjusted the time of their flight in 2016 to align with the eclipse ... and it kills me how excited the guy recording the video gets

And that inspired Alaska to do the same again, this week (video here).

If we could get AC to do it in 2024 ... yes yes yes, I am in.

C'mon Ben ... set it up ...

^^^^^^^^^^^

Last night, I posted this link to this year's blog (which included the video) on the AS forum.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/28723653-post71.html

I also mentioned to a few others on this forum that it wasn't just AS. Southwest had a series of flights.

Even if the 2024 does not cover as much land, I pointed out that it is something I am sure some AC pilots would be interested in doing.

In the AS blog from the other day, the pilots talk about their interest and the planning that went into it.

There are plenty of vocal and lurking AvGeeks on this forum and elsewhere to easily sell-out more than one AC aircraft.

Reset your own seat (new pods).

Get to 'home screen'

Hold down finger on "Air Canada" for 5 seconds

Keypad appears. Enter 3 2 1.

Do stuff.

Actually this was posted before by another FTer but it is difficult to find. Perhaps they removed it.

I actually showed a fellow RCHHMP the other day how to do this.

I've tried it several times and its worked for seats that required a reset.

The annoying thing is that once you select a menu option, it throws you back to the landing screen and you have to do the code trick all over again to select a subsequent option.

Are you suggesting I would write bad code?

Also, this was posted before, but it was removed. By whom, and for what reason, I don't know.
