Low fees considering the AC for FRA-YYZ.

I just wanted to post my thanks for all the help on my mini rtw trip. All in Business class for my wife and I 300k aeroplan points and $800 in Feb. It would have been way cheaper but the last leg we had to use AC (no wiggle room for the return date). I will be sad to see AC change its partnership with Aeroplan trying to use my miles up.

YYZ-CAI Egypt Air MS996 Overnight
CAI-DXB Egypt Air MS901 (13 hour)
DXB-DEL Air India AI996 Stop
DEL-BKK Air India AI334 Stop
BKK-PNH Thia Airways TG580 (14H)
PNH-NRT All Nippon NH818 Stop
NRT-PVG Air China CA158 (7hr)
PVG YYZ Air Canada AC28

Talking

I haven't visited the site in way too long. Going through this list of valid itineraries since the rule change is eye-opening.

Last time I booked, we did YOW-EWR-BRU-IST-BKK (side flights on our own of DMK-MDL / RGN-BKK) -SIN-SYD-SFO-ORD-YOW. (all in Y!) and loved it.

Now searching for a way to start from YOW/YUL/YHZ (preferably the latter but no worries) to go through "anywhere in Africa" / Perth (stop) / NZ, but I'm not sure that's possible. Will keep scrolling for inspiration, and thank you for all of the valid itineraries posted so far! Looking forward to using our last 90k each this fall (again in Y) to do another trip before Aeroplan changes.

TPE-YYZ - EVA J
160,000 AP + $512.00 CAD + $30 CAD booking fee. Works out to about 18.7/cpp when i searched cheapest possible biz flights on each airlines own site.

GCMAP had YYZ-WAW-AMS-VIE-VCE-IST-ZNZ-ADD-SIN-PER as 18,056 mi, with YYZ-PER MPM given as 18,050 (confirmed with rep on phone). However when given the routing, they said it only showed my route as being 17,xxx (i forget exact number but about 700mi less than I expected)

Gonna be a busy trip! I originally wanted to only go as far as SIN, but had to do PER in order to do ZNZ. I doubt I`ll be back in the Perth region again so i stretched it to 5 nights (probably still too short)

I`ve been to Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Taipei before, so those will be about visiting old haunts, friends, food, and shopping. Everything else will be all new!

Now THIS is an amazing itinerary.

I'm trying to do this complicated route and it's not working. Got off the phone with agent and said my MPM is way over...been trying to fix it for hours and can't seem to.

All in J except for inter canada

YOW-YUL (AC. Y)
ZRH-IST
DXB-BKK
BKK-SYD (STOP)
SYD-AKL
AKL-PPT (STOP)

PPT-AKL
AKL-SYD
SYD-BKK
BKK-HKG (2 DAYS)
HKG-KIX (STOP)
KIX-ICN
ICN-YYZ
YYZ-YOW

Both are around 18,000MPM. The main ones I need to go to are; SYD, PPT, HKG and KIX. Rest can be play around with. There's no direct flights at all right now with AKL-BKK. How is everyone finding these routes within their MPM?

you can only have 2 stops + your turnaround (=3 stops) and I count 4. your turnaround point is the furthest point from YOW so that would be SYD. you definitely need to cut out a bunch of segments on your way to SYD so that'll probably mean booking the PPT segments as a separate award. the MPM dictates how many miles you can fly "on your way" to SYD so you probably can't have so many segments or you need to find a more direct routing
