I'm using the all-airline monthly pass, and it works just fine on AC.

GoGo just ran a roadshow across the AC bases, and apparently the monthly pass option will be added according to the information I received.

Does anybody have any data on how many aircraft have actually had wifi service installed and what the (new) date is for completion across the fleet? I haven't seen it once yet on any flight between YYC and YYZ.

Ditto here.

Not one of any NA flights this year have I seen this or heard on-board announcements being made about its availability.

Worth it! (but of course each person needs to make their own call).

70kbps is more than enough for imessage, email, flyertalk, looking up information online etc. It's just not going to be good if you want to do video, music etc.

Probably best they keep it low at 70kbps to prevent pompous loudmouths (yeah, you know who you are...) from skyping out loud with complete disregard for common courtesy.

Purely anecdotal, but I had it on one YYZ-YYC flight, so they are out there. Agreed it would be good to have some numbers, though!

It seems as though the E190's are being retro-fitted fast and furious. I believe there are WiFi decals next to the entry door indicating conversion.

Yeah, my experience on E90s recently has been that almost all of them had wifi. Except, of course, the one flight where I really needed it and would have paid for it

Its a little more complicated than plugging in a couple or routers. AT least for United, its a 9 day process.

WiFi seems to be getting better

Currently on AC189/FIN235 and experiencing the speediest wifi yet on AC. Sitting in J I have noticed at least four other people making regular use of wifi, not sure how many in Y are using it, but still impressed with both the download and upload speeds.

D'oh! Would help if I actually put the correct filename in the link. It's fixed. *blush*
