*FAQ:
Q: On the 787-9 (789), which seats in J are missing windows?
A: Rows 5 and 8 on both port and starboard sides have only one window, instead of two on all other port/starboard J seats.

Q: On the 787-8 (788), which seats in J are missing windows?
A: Only row 5 port and starboard sides have zero windows.

Q: Does the middle J seats' middle divider come down?
A: No, on the 788 and 789 the middle divider does not come down and is fixed in place. In fact, all Dream Cabin (788, 789, 77L, 77W) middle dividers are fixed and do not come down.

so (clearly) I've been sitting in the YVR DOM MLL for a couple hours now, and so far I have seen 6 different AC 787's. - I smiling inside that YVR seems to be getting the cool stuff.

+++++++1 and your photos are great, Sean. Thanks.

I stand by the same windows and I think it has the best view in the country

On one of my recent days there, I saw only 3 of the birds but the scenery in the background was amazing too.

^

Too bad the China Southern and Japan Airlines' 787s are usually on the other side of the International pier (or may have departed already).

I love it when they park the China Southern 787 by itself in the midfield between the two main runways. Very sharp design, imo.

@24left your pictures kick my pictures butt. Clearly you take time to set it up right and I just snap them on the go.

Nah, you guys are both great! ^

Whenever I get into the Domestic MLL after a TPAC flight, it is almost always grey and foggy, so I can never get anywhere near what you two have posted.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Unfortunately, I was also a little saddened that YUL is not getting any love.

I understand the longest, less profitable routes were getting the 787 first and that once all the 787s are in, I will be able to look out on the tarmac at YUL to see those beautiful birds. But part of me is still quite jealous of YVR.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the outstanding scenery we get to see at YVR

Next week there are a few 787 Rapidair flights scheduled - of course last minutes subs are always possible.

On the AC 788

Sometimes, I look out the window and I am just mesmerized by the stunning views and colors.
It's sometimes like flying through a painting.

A few Rapidair flights do not, in my opinion, equate to giving YUL some love.

Even though it might be token, maybe throwing YUL a bone disguised as 787 route LHR, BRU, CDG, GVA, FRA or MUC would not be too much to ask.

I booked PE to Europe in May. Has it been documented what the procedure would be if the 787 has to be rotated out to a 767? Would PE passengers be upgraded to business class, or perhaps would compensation be due?
