*FAQ:
Q: On the 787-9 (789), which seats in J are missing windows?
A: Rows 5 and 8 on both port and starboard sides have only one window, instead of two on all other port/starboard J seats.
Q: On the 787-8 (788), which seats in J are missing windows?
A: Only row 5 port and starboard sides have zero windows.
Q: Does the middle J seats' middle divider come down?
A: No, on the 788 and 789 the middle divider does not come down and is fixed in place. In fact, all Dream Cabin (788, 789, 77L, 77W) middle dividers are fixed and do not come down.

The wiki is out of date until someone flies on it and confirms. I was recently on a CR9 that was explicitly marked as "not installed", but wifi worked.
No reason to believe the same thing isn't the case here. But I'm not booked on any 788 until the 27th, so hopefully a more frequent flyer can confirm it.

Preferred seat photos?
Anyone have any pictures from sitting in preferred economy seats in row 18 or 31?
I'm in 31A, thinking I should just sit in standard economy now since reading the seat isn't great.

This was 31K but same idea (full stretch). I am average height and heavy set, and I enjoyed it.

Where are the electrical outlets located on the seats in economy? In looking at pictures, I can't see them.

Got PY for YYZ-PVG.
I flew 13A last year YYZ-PEK and did not sleep much. 12A fully reclined for the whole trip and required gymnastics to get out of my seat when I needed to use the bathroom.
Eyeing 12A/K now (need window side to sleep). I know there is no leg rest or foot rest. Will the FA be ok if I take my carryon out of overhead and put it flat on the ground to serve as a foot rest?
I’m only 5’4 and need some sort of foot rest to sleep well

On AC's website, while it says that power ports are at every business and premium economy seat, for economy, it says "between the seats". Does this mean that there are only 2 power ports for every 3 economy seats?

PY is a decent seat. No foot rest though, which is OK. Better than the back of the bus. PY seats on the bulkhead right are the best. No snacks or food besides the scheduled service on FCO-YUL. This was disappointing

787 issues
In the context of the Boeing safety press has been dealing with potentially significant safety issues for the 787 program.
Here is an apparently reasonable look at the question (free access until April 23 or so):

I actually like the 787. Hopefully the issue is behind us.
Not sure if AC has any plane, or how many, that predate(s) the delivery halt.
