Today I called to book an award ticket in J JFK-IST-BRU.
I specifically wanted to fly TK2 as my dad is booked on that flight. ExpertFlyer showed availability in I class but the A3 agent could not see it. He offered me a ticket on TK4 instead which I was not interested in.
Any tips on getting that TK2 flight? Or is it simply not open to A3? (Which I find weird since ExpertFlyer can see availability)
I specifically wanted to fly TK2 as my dad is booked on that flight. ExpertFlyer showed availability in I class but the A3 agent could not see it. He offered me a ticket on TK4 instead which I was not interested in.

Just updated the wiki for flights departing from and to NRT, Japan with POS set in ATH. Since Japan has different YQ for different airlines when the POS is not in Japan.

Not entirely true. I've flown an award ticket, 2 segments, 23:55 hours apart. Different days, obviously. A3 allows layovers not longer then 24 hours - no limitations of date change involved (as per rules and experience). There was no problem booking this via phone, agent had no problems seeing the flights on different dates and booking it on a single ticket.

Well they offered me to fly on OS via VIE and the connection was the next day without me having to break the trip in 2 segments.
Weird thing is, they also offered me TK4, then I call back the next day and the agent tells me they have no availability on TK on any dates for the week I want to fly... (Even though I still see I class availability on ExpertFlyer on a lot of dates)
I will try again next week.

Thanks, cause NH they change the plane to 789 with international business class, so I would like to cancel it and book another one, and I'll lose €80 for that. May be not.
BTW the business class they increase from 40000miles to 42000miles now

Another reason could be TK blocked the flight to A3, making it unbookable using M+B.
