Not sure how such Codeshares work
I am sure it's the marketing carrier which will count, so it shouldn't work.

I'm almost certain that your ticket would have to start with 157 (the ticketing number for Qatar Airways).

One other thing went through my mind…. I got years back a Status match to QR Gold. Would this be seen as a ontime match and won’t apply now with my Accor Diamond. Or are this considered as two different things?

Apologies for what may be a noob question, especially given that there has been some 'clarification' already (just one I still don't fully understand!), but what exactly qualifies as an "eligible flight" with Qatar? Or more to the point, where should one be looking for a cheap flight that can satisfy this requirement? Is it simply a case of crediting the FFP to Qatar, or does it have to be flown on Qatar metal? I have ALL Platinum and would love the benefits of One World Sapphire for an upcoming European trip, but it doesn't look very economical to fly to Doha and back for the privilege...

Would be greatful for any advice Thanks all

I am Accor diamond and linked my account with QR . I took a small flight AKL-ADL . I have received the avios in my account but my status hasn't upgraded. It has been a few days now after I took the flight on the 25th may. Not sure if I show wait or who to contact.

So my account hasn't been upgraded and the reason why the agent is telling me because all platinum memberships have been exhausted this year. But there is no way to check

it's a permanent offer. You should try and call again. As long as a partnership is running, it seems silly to hear that there is a limited number of platinum

There actually is a limited number of Platinum status matches per year, 250 for 2023.

Indeed, surprisingly it lasted until end of May, so I guess there is a very limited overlap of ALL Diamonds who fly Qatar.

Considering the low number of members being All Diamond and flying Qatar, they could have done a gesture. It’s a huge disappointment for a Diamond member. I would encourage him to insist and escalate this.

What happens if you now fly again early JAN 2024, as the quata will reset, does it than count again? Or is it one try and that’s it?

Im in Same situation here, all Diamond and will fly in 3 days. So assume now change to get upgraded to Platinum
