Does anyone know why the following promotion, which shows up in different variations once every month or two, is so hard to find on www.spg.com?? It's

I realize it's only a 5 day promotion period but I have never seen it on spg, the only website that I've ever seen it on is http://www.starwoodhotels.com/index.html?back=-1
Just curious because I am sure I've missed it before but now I check both regularly. Some deals are good, others average. All are non-refundable.

I just recieved my 3k Points 
But actually this was my 4th stay in this period 1. June to 15. August already. If my definition of "Stay" is correct ...
May first "stay" in this period lasts from 29th May till 02nd June - doesn't this stay count since it started before June? Thanks

That would mean that your stay from May 29th to June 2nd doesn't count.
IIRC, the arrival date is usually what matters most.
For this promo, it would seem that only stays which start between June 1st and August 15th count towards the number of stays needed to earn the bonus points.
FWIW, I recently completed my 6th stay under this promo.....and on Saturday, my 6K bonus points posted.
This promo has worked out rather well for me....since I have 3 more stays booked before August 15th.
