Ordered on 2-8. Got security phone call on 2-9 for confirmation about the order. It was approved 30 mins later with approval email. It showed up in my BA account with only Nordstrom activity later on 2-9 in evening.

The bonus points posed on 2-10.

It took about two days for me.

I think it depends on when your order is shipped, not necessarily your order date. My points posted as pending 1 day after the order was shipped, with the bonus points showing up a day later.

When you guys talk about "posted" do you mean that the points are available in your BA Avios account already to book with, or just that they show up in the BA mall site as having been earned?

BA Shopping states that a merchant must review and approve the transaction for the points to be Approved (and out of Pending status). I kind of doubt Nordstrom reviews each transaction manually?

Looks like the 36X deal is dead. Only 12X.

By the way, it takes 3 weeks to 1 month from the pending points to become usable Avios points.

For the first time so far, despite about 20 posts saying the same thing, it does look dead.

That is odd considering the deal said valid until the 14th of Feb, or am I mistaken?

NORDX3 code still works, it's just not advertised there, so it seems still on?

I still see 12x when I pull up Nordstrom, and the NORDX3 code still takes.

You aren't mistaken, but that was the 3x deal specifically. With the 12x already out there, perhaps they (BA or Nordstrom) realized that they shouldn't be giving away a free business class ticket to Europe with every $3000 purchase.

I placed my second order today of $1200 on the misters account. Code isn't advertised but it accepted it. I'll let you know when the 3x posts!

It is mind boggling to me, and affirming of my addiction, that the masses get 12 miles per dollar and those of us lucky enough to read blogs, FT and MP get to clean up. I've had times when I've purchased miles; here I end up with a large bunch of miles and the only difference is I also get merchandise that we can use.

From my wife's perspective, this is a total paradigm shift - me asking my wife to spend money at Nordstrom! Bottom line - enough for one First Class ticket to London! I can't imagine what we would have spent if they would have allowed gift cards to be included - and really don't understand why they didn't.

[QUOTE=leftpinky;17949563]Yeah, gotta say AVIOS are great for US travel for direct routes.
I keep reading this but cannot figure out how to do it online. Do I have to call BA?
