Service is ok. Just ok. I requested some ice and after it did not arrive called down to the front desk again. A maintenance engineer came by for the glass bucket. After filling it he simply entered the room with his pass key without ringing the bell again. Room service has prompt, good, hot and expensive. This is ZRH.

I was there for 1 night last May. The room was nice but service was terrible. It was a quiet Sat night when I check in. I was escort to my room so I thought nice and tip the guy equivalent of 15 USD. I ask him where the closest Teuscher chocolates store and he said he would get right back to me. Of course, the phone never rang. Went back to the check-in desk and the guy was gone. No mentioned of free breakfast nor free internet. Can't remember if the room was upgraded. Amenity was a small box of chocolate. Upon check out, no one was station at the entrance. I have to walk outside the little driveway to wave for taxis to the airport. I’ll never go back to this hotel again given the high rate they charge and terrible service.

I did have one major stupid error. Coming down the lift I encountered the bell person. He insisted on taking my bag to the cab. Well I had an issue I have not commented on herein out of fairness to the Hotel. We will see how they resolve. Well once my bag hit the cab the meter started. So when I entered it already had 10 chf on the meter. A mistake also made only once in Paris. Be aware.

Another thumbs up for the Park Hyatt, this is our second excellent stay here. Diamonds do get free internet and also free breakfast.
breakfast spread is very good but not comparable to four seasons (though no complaints for free!), egg option, omlette/boiled etc, a selection of pastries cereals, fruit etc. However we found that the spread was marginally better if you order room service .. which we did on the second morning (also free).
Bars: Lobby bar, sometimes a queue, very sophisticated full of "sex in the city" style women and older men smoking cigars. Many bankers. Definitely afew couples with very young girls and older men, but very enjoyable nonetheless. Non smoking and smoking areas and pretty good air con. Good service and nice ambiance. High ceilings and very airy.
Trendy Onyx bar: Very party bar, could have appeared on sex in the city! Style modern dark (blueish) mood lighting, lots of business men and some ladies after a rich banker (possibly!). Fun funky and quite noisy, great service. Nibbles in both bars was coconut!
Restaurant: Excellent Veal main, starter was average but very pleasant. Very nice staff and we preferred eating here to the lobby lounge.. Dont expect michellin star, just very nicely done tasty food.
Location: easy walk (5 mins) to main street for shopping. 10 mins to station. Opposite a rather poor sheraton (where we have also stayed, room smelled of mould!).
Overall really enjoyed the stay and would go again.

It seems if they upgrade you to an exec. room (6th flloor)?then one of the the benefits is the free internet.
I've had other type upgrades and did not have the free internet but the rooms were jr.suites and a few other types I don't recall all very nice.
All and all a very nice property where they are Diamond compliant.

I'm guessing that "Full Breakfast Plan" just means that as a Diamond, not only do you partake of the many breakfast buffet selections, but also may choose any entree off of the breakfast menu (and may I highly recommend the eggs Benedict, if your cholesterol levels so permit).
I think you will find the that the HSIA is, indeed, free of charge in your case, and you should confirm that when you check in. BTW (for the 6th floor rooms, anyway) the check-in process is done on a personal basis, in your room: a staff member--with large leather folio under arm--escorts you to your room and takes care of everything there...a nice touch. Enjoy!

Just posting to answer my query above: internet access was indeed free because I was upgraded to the Executive Room.
I did have a pleasant three-night stay, but I don't feel the Park Hyatt Zurich was all that it was hyped up to be. Don't get me wrong...nothing the matter with the hotel, just below my expectations. I did find the staff to be courteous, but not overly friendly...they were like a "W Hotel cold but friendly attitude". Room was ok, but nothing special. I've had better stays at other Park Hyatts.
I did have a pleasant three-night stay, but I don't feel the Park Hyatt Zurich was all that it was hyped up to be. Don't get me wrong...nothing the matter with the hotel, just below my expectations. I did find the staff to be courteous, but not overly friendly...they were like a "W Hotel cold but friendly attitude". Room was ok, but nothing special. I've had better stays at other Park Hyatts.

Park Hyatt Zurich still top!
My second stay at the Park Hyatt Zurich for three nights - this is still my favorite Park Hyatt hotel.
Returning as a lowly Platinum member of GP, the Park Hyatt did upgrade me to their Park King Suite (that is now featuring two B&O television and a B&O stereo) with points again although there was no official availability when I called Hyatt´s reservation line.
Early check-in (9am) and late check-out (3pm) were granted on top - and service was very personal and attentive again. I love the arrangement of the Park King Suite and the in-room breakfast is very good value for money.
Limousine, special cake, flower arrangments - everything was done to my full satisfaction - I am looking forward to my next stay!
The Parkhuus restaurant was the only disappointment - service was terrible and food quality was not convincing...

just stayed there on the weekend and I would rate it as one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Real class - very subtile service - would recommed it highly to anyone who look for the real luxury and not just pretension

I just had an outstanding 1 night FFN stay at this property. I really loved the property, the treatment I received, and the graciousness of all staff encountered.
I came from the PH Istanbul. The Guest Services Manager in Istanbul had worked at the PH Zurich, and sent a note ahead. Thus, I was greeted on arrival by the Front Office Manager, a lovely lady who was very warm and welcoming.
I was given a very well appointed room on the 6th floor. rtwstaralliance described the room very well in an earlier post. It is comfortably elegant. Internet access is comped on this floor. I had 2 bottles of water, a fruit bowl, and a nice box of chocolates (though the last might have been due to the introduction from the PH Istanbul). There were ample bottles of Blaise Mautin toiletries. The last time I stayed here, the hotel used the same fragrance as Vendome in Paris. It now has its own unique fragrance. My full breakfast was comped this morning.
The Park Hyatts where I have stayed in the past few months seem to me to have really upped their game in terms of service. Staff here was universally warm and welcoming, seeming genuinely interested in me having a satisfying stay. This morning, the gentleman who had helped me with my stay 2 years ago, popped out from the back office to greet me and wish me well on my travels.
I really liked the property. I'll definitely chose this hotel for future Zurich stays.

Coarse toilet paper
Hopefully not being too TMI here.
Maybe it's just culture difference*, as I haven't use too many other "facilities" in Switzerland yet. But it's the most coarse TP I encountered in any chain hotels.
Otherwise, the stay so far is fine. Just checked in today on FFN. After settled in, talked to the front desk, finded out that they had me as Plat rather then Diamond in their system. They straightened it out very quickly. So I will get free internet and free breakfast. I already unpacked and am traveling alone, so didn't bother to ask about upgrade.
I think I will just go to Migros and see what's available in local market and maybe get a roll.
