Damrak is an interesting tasting gin. It is very citrusy and as such, a sort of niche product, perhaps best in certain classic cocktails. Not that it is a bad product but not a great choice for a "staple" liquor that will perform well for the majority of drinks and drinkers. A gin and tonic, for example, is probably best with a more traditional London Dry style where juniper predominates.

Currently hanging out in the new SEA Skyclub. First time in this club and first time trying the new gin in my gin and tonic. I'm enjoying it but I could see why not everybody is board with the switch. I think gin is more polarizing than most spirits and a lot of people really only like one or two particular gins.

The BOS SCs have a larger flat plate that you can use; however, I like that in the United Clubs you can use silverware as opposed to plastic and dishes as opposed to disposables. Ditto for the Admirals Clubs, to a lesser extent (still a lot of plastic).
The "enhanced" food feels cheap when eating off of disposables. With all the fanfare for the Alessi service items onboard, I hope something similar comes to the SCs.

In the clubs that have brought back real plates & silverware the plates are slightly larger and I think the perfect size for club purposes (SFO and I think SEA though I have not been there).

Well, Detroit isn't one of the airports with real size plates. Here miniature paper plates and mastic flatware. Atlanta, too. At least when I was last there maybe six weeks ago.
