Caution:
Barclays has a history of not seeing the offer you signed up for, and demanding that you send it to them.
So save a printout or screen capture of the landing page that spells out the offer!

What's in this thread:
This thread starts out by discussing a slightly different version of this offer that was around in late 2013.
(That version waived the $69 fee the first year for the 45k offer; the current 30k and 45k offers do not.)
Only those posts from July 2014 forward are about the current offer;
all posts from Apr 2014 backward are about the late 2013 offer.

Taken from Doctor of Credit's review of the card. http://www.doctorofcredit.com/wyndha...ual-fee-cards/

It seems that the increased bonus is going away, so if I were you, I'd act fast.

I got the 45K card in December so this offer has been around a while.

What was the anniversary bonus on the offer that you got? The link that I provided has an anniversary bonus of 15k instead of 5.5k.

Applied a few days ago after gettig an e-mail with the 45k offer coming back. Got declined an told I have "sufficient credit" with Barclays already, tried moving credit around but declined again because too many new accounts in the last year. Barclays is tough.

I'm not sure but I doubt it was 15K as I would renew for that many points

Do you know if they pulled your CR or just denied based on your history with Barclays? I was was denied for my 3rd US Air card in March for a similar reason, but there was no HP.

I applied for the card last week (received instant approval), and was wondering when I might see it. I've had other Barclay cards, but do not recall the turnaround time.

Thanks

Barclay Wyndham - Get two cards?

Hi,

Can one person get both Barclay Wyndham credit cards, with and without annual fee, and get all the bonus points for each?

Thanks,
Mike

Given that this is Barclay you're talking about, not so likely (it may depend if "instnatly" approved or not, like churning US cards did?), and be prepared with great answers to the questions they'll ask if you try for the second one.

Doesn't matter what the anniversary bonus was, all existing cardholders are being upgraded to 15k.

Where did you hear this?

They still have separate applications online for 5k vs 15k

From their media department. This is their response, taken from this post on my blog.

Existing annual fee cardholders who are currently earning 5,500 anniversary bonus points will be upgraded to 15,000 anniversary points.
If anybody doesn't get the 15k points and instead gets 5.5k points, please contact me.

This post contains a link to my website, I've included all of the relevant information as per FT rules.

"New accounts" in general or "new accounts" with Barclays?

Thanks, I'll have to keep a record of that. I won't find out if I get 15,000 points until April 2016.

Instantly approved! :-)

Note that when I was looking for the link to apply, I first came across a page that said 5.5K points on anniversary, but then found a page with 15K on anniversary.
