Citi's contract to issue Hilton co-branded cards ends in December 2017. Citi will sell most accounts to American Express. The criteria for determining which accounts are eligible to be sold are unpublished. Read Hilton FAQ: http://hiltonhonors3.hilton.com/en/e...-card-faq.html

- Earn two weekend night certificates - at select hotels and resorts - after making $2,500 in purchases.
- Enjoy Hilton HHonors Gold Status as long as you are a Citi Hilton Reserve cardmember
- Annual Fee: $95, not waived
From the app page:
"Weekend Night Certificates offer is not available if you have had any Citi®Hilton HHonorsTM card opened or closed in the past 24 months"."Weekend Night Certificates offer is not available if you have had a Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card account that was opened or closed in the past 24 months." (Language change to "any" dates back to August 2016.)
Some datapoints indicate that the certificates are emailed ~7 days after the statement in which the spend is met, but others datapoints indicate that it may take 1-2 additional statement cycles before they're actually sent.
The certificates expire 12 months from the date that they're emailed to you. Your stay must be completed on or before this expiration date.
Yes. Some people say they haven't been asked for them, but it's much better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them.
No, you have to call the HHonors department to book them. Even regular Hilton reservations cannot book them, although they can transfer you to the right department.
Several people have reported successfully churning this card, and receiving the certificates for both cards. Closing one card before applying for another doesn't appear to be required.
You can still get as many as you want of the Citi Hilton 50k cards (except that CITI only allows two cards of any type every 60-65 days).all 50k card offers without 18 month language dead as of 7/5/15
This seems to be YMMV. Some people have reported not getting it until well after their AF payment is due, while others have reported getting it in time to cancel and have their AF refunded. More data points on this are needed.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday night, and I don't think there are any blackout nights (beyond the normal HHonors program rules). Here is the description from the Cert as well as the T&C's:

When I called in I was told that I was never enrolled in that program and that I needed to spend $10,000 to get 1 free night. Part of the reason I signed up for the card was that I would get the 2 weekend nights free and its what I was told when I signed up.
This account is also my oldest account as well. Since 1999, with CITI. Really pissed off.

Approaching 11 weeks waiting for Citi to e-mail the certificates -- still nothing. I tried tweeting Citi's customer service and they said I'd get a call in five days. When that didn't happen, and I tweeted again, they said try waiting ten days.

I wish. I read in other threads that Citi takes another 10 days to get to the CitiGold AA bonuses after hitting 90 days so I wasn't surprised when she told me to wait 10 instead of 5. I've never had any other bonus take near as long, however.
EDIT: Finally arrived today, exactly 11 weeks after hitting spend (and on the date the third statement closed after making spend). I
made my reservation immediately, even though the Hilton agent couldn't see room availability until I convinced her to go on the web to see that they existed. It is finished!

regarding the application link at the very top of the wiki as of 5/1/16, i clicked on it and read through the offer but didnt see anything about the $100 SC after spending at hilton. so does that link not include the $100 SC and that its just the standard offer on citi's website?

Has anyone received their 1 free night cert after hitting the 10k spend requirement? I hit the 10k spend mark about 3 months ago and have yet to receive it. Do I need to wait til next year's AF or has anyone gotten it sooner?

My one year anniversary is coming up, and I don't know if I should close this card or downgrade to the no annual fee version. Thoughts? Will downgrading to the no fee card reset the 24 month clock on this or the no fee version (which I last applied for on 7/5/15, right under the wire).

Downgrading to the NAF gets you no bonus whatsoever so I see sense in taking any risks as far as resetting the 24 month clock. GL

I'm not sure if anyone can answer that question 100% but if I was you ( well I would have cancelled the Reserve card around the 8 month mark but that's another story) I would cancel the Reserve today and reapply for the NAF Citi Visa in August ( I like to play it safe) of 2017 ( assuming you haven't applied for or cancelled the NAF card since 7/5/15) then come back and get the Reserve again in June 2018.

I reached my minimum spend last cycle and did not receive the free nights yet. I am being patient, as the wiki says it might be a few mote cycles.
But in the meantime, when the 2 free nights come, is it a standard email from Citi, or from Hilton? I have trouble with my email filters sending stuff to the junk/spam bin, so I want to be on the lookout, thanks.
Also, will my HHonors account show something like "2 free nights available" ?
