Also, it says spirits are available at the HEL Schengen lounge. Only beer and wine on my last couple of visits, except for some kind of flavoured liqueur.

Yes it is the same place. As you walk down that corridor you pass 36 on your right and if you went past the lounges you would come to 37 on your right. HEL has now opened the new bus gates (50 A-M) with the entrance on your left opposite the lounge. The actual gates are down the stairs/escalators, so in terms of which gates are actually closest to the lounge 36/37 are much nearer.

Ah yes, I see the gates in the upper thirties have recently been renumbered. Will update the lounge slides. Thank-you

They also denied knowledge of a first class lounge when in fact there was one and it is called Premium rather than First. I'm not sure why they could just explain that and be nice.

Following a fruitless attempt to look at flights to visit my family in the Loire it appears that BA no longer serve Angers ANE (even seasonally) as the airport has closed its control tower. So, much as I have enjoyed the micro-delights of the tiny "Club's Room" and loved c-w-s's review on this thread, should it be removed from the list of French BA lounges?

Indeed the airport is no longer a public service airport, unfortunately, so the broom cupboard lounge (I remember, when trying to get some photos, struggling to achieve a focal length within the tight dimensions concerned) is now history. Still, I'm hoping that some future student of BA's history will come across the weird and wonderful corners of this website one day and ask "are they pulling my leg? BA flew to Angers? And there was a lounge?"
