You have had better luck than me. I'm 100% unsuccessful on my oneup bids where I've got the email advising they will review again at the 7-9 hour mark.

Buenos Aires and Los Angeles. Not surprised about Los Angeles given its hard to use a RU on the route.

EZE is 789 with very few business class seats. I know of people who have problem buying a business class seat on this route as they are all sold.

May 20, 2017 YYC to Rarotonga through LAX, bid $280 CDN for cattle class to PE class. Was accepted. PE class was less that 1/2 full and the plane was less than 1/2 full.

Ditto on the way back.

So if you receive an e-mail ten days out telling you they are reviewing your flight upgrade requests and noticed you have made a low offer, is this proforma? I am in PE on NZ 2 on June 18. I am fine if the upgrade does not come through as PE looks quite comfortable, although business class would be nice. As this is my first time flying NZ, and first experience with the OneUp program am just curious. Thank you in advance.

It's a stock standard email a week out to encourage you to bid more. Obviously if everybody ignored it then everything would remain the same and your odds wouldn't change.. However if it causes some people to up their bid then that's extra revenue for the airline, and may also impact your chances if they're now bidding more than you.

Helpful to state if it was Y-PE or PE-BP.
