Wonder if there's ever been a "legacy" carrier that's operated widebody flights out of YWG?
AC with various equipment to LHR until that ended in the mid-90s. I'm almost certain AC also used to schedule a daily 762 to YYZ back in the day.

I picked up a pair of tickets for May last night. Looking forward to trying out the 767 TATL!

I know NWA operated a DC-10 between YWG and MSP at some point but cannot find the years when this equipment operated the route.

Why do they not need to worry?
WS can already interline to BA.
(codeshare does nothing for me.)

even without that, you can still save money through interline i.e.
WS YVRLGW
BA XXXLGW (assuming this fare is <£71/74)
WS LGWYVR

The latest one, the original Panasonic system was removed by Qantas. Basically the same system we are fitting to the 737s, but with 6 wireless access points with dual radios on the 767s, compared with 4 access points on the 737-600 & -700s and 5 access points on the 737-800s.

BA's offerings at LGW don't match FI's at KEF.

So FI at KEF has a lounge that is better than BA's Flounge?
(also, LGW has priority pass lounges while KEF doesn't even have one.)

What are you talking about?

I was responding to your post about codeshare/interline agreements.

Just returned from a week in HEL and saw this announcement and both my guesses of YEG and YWG from upthread proved correct.

For a while in the 80s Wardair operated 767 service YWG-YQR.

So YWG has typically had some form of widebody passenger service at any given point, but generally nothing consistent ever since CP stopped its somewhat longstanding YWG-AMS run in the early 80s, and in recent years just charters.

Codeshare can lead to much better pricing than interlining.

When will interlining-tickets with BA at LGW become available?

I was searching various options with the ITA Matrix, but nothing was found. Even when I tried to force it. For example, for SZG->LGW->YHZ I get SZG->LGW on BA, LGW->KEF on FI and, KEF->YYZ on FI, and YYZ->YHZ on WS. The cheapest price is C$ 7,744. That is the full IATA-fare in in Economy class and nobody is going to pay that.

5 minutes after the departure of FI LGW-KEF, there would be a WS departure to YYZ.

You mean Pacific Western Airlines (PWA), not Wardair.
