Have a somewhat niche question — if I book (say) ORD-NRT-SIN on a single ticket in J (as a connection, not an open jaw), and F availability opens up on ORD-NRT at some point in future, would it be possible to rebook the ORD-NRT leg into F even if at that time there's no more J award availability on NRT-SIN, or would it require I to be open on NRT-SIN as well?

Do you need to call in for seat selection on this tickets? I’m not seeing a ANA booking reference from VS

There is no connection for Virgin ANA awards. The ORD-NRT-SIN would need to be booked as 2 separate tickets anyways (ORD-NRT, NRT-SIN), so there should not be any issues with swapping ORD-NRT to F.

And my outbound will be on JL SEA-NRT.

All I need now is for pandemic to get under control. :-(

That's a fine haul of flights you've got there - congrats!

Will have fingers and toes crossed 😀

My friend, I am counting the days.
MESM Tokyo, Hyatt Centric Kanazawa, W Osaka, JW Marriott Nara, Andaz Tokyo.

I will miss my old standbys Westin Tokyo and Park Hyatt Tokyo but I cannot believe I'm so fortunate to say "let's try another set of hotels!"

Ahh, my youth staying in Holiday Inns. And I loved every second of those trips.

Yes indeed. For me it was more likely to be Youth Hostels Now I find myself leaning towards the hotels you mention!

When booking in to F, I’ve noticed that seat 1A always seems to be greyed-out on the seat reservation page… just wondering if that may be because it’s used as a crew rest area, or held solely for ANA mileage club member reservations, something along those lines?

Held for full fare and VIPs. If not taken, you can request it at the airport check-in.

I thought it was held for passengers with a baby needing a bassinet. That's what most airlines do for that seat.
