UA is aware of problems with the seatmaps and it is being worked on. See my post at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...&postcount=603

Wow... couldn't you just try out the C seat during boarding or something?

I'll save you the wading through the monster threads on this topic. There are three refit locations, one each assigned to the 767, 777, and 747 (I can't remember off the top of my head where they are - GRU is one I think). For each model, they're doing one refit, then putting it into service for a month to work out kinks, and then continuing additional refits at the rate of one aircraft per week. They started with the 767, but I don't think we have any public information about when they will start with the 777 or 747. I suspect at least not until December, since they will want a month or so of shakedown on this aircraft.

On another note - thanks gfowler, for all your info on the inaugural. You've been so patient - and certainly have earned your seat n the flight.^^

Any idea if the return trip from FRA will be continuing on to SFO on the 20th?

I'm in C on the 20th from IAD to SFO and am keeping my fingers crossed!

AFAIK no plane operating FRA-SFO on the 20th is a 767, so no.

Just got the call too. They said they "held me a full fare seat", whatever that means. Just back from Europe last night, so can't go Monday. Have fun Gene! ^

I just booked a saver C seat on UA952 for 19-Nov with a return date of 21-Nov. There were 2 seats available in XC for this flight! See you on the flight!

Hey everyone, my friend couldn't make this flight so I just opened up one more XC seat for UA952 on Nov. 19th. I couldn't believe the seat went back into inventory. Now its your change to take it before its too late. Its really strange that they are offering a saver seat in C class for this flight!

So, is it still a guess for other IAD-FRA flights later in the week? I am in C on UA 952 that Friday, 11/23.

So anyone have any guesses on the possible rotation of this plane?

IAD-FRA Day 1 (11/19)
FRA-IAD Day 2 (11/20)
IAD-ZRH Day 2 (11/20)
ZRH-IAD Day 3 (11/21)

Rinse and repeat? Wondering what my chances are for IAD-ZRH over Thanksgiving.
