Woohoo!!! Delayed shaft!

At least someone is listening. United PR, if you passed on the message, thank you. 1Kvoice, if you people did this, thank you (but I guess you won't see this post).
I wonder if we can get UA to take back the shaft for 2012 (and beyond) as well, or whether that's too much to ask from Jeff & Co. :-/

Let the complaining begin on the CO Forum. Something needs to be done to establish equilibrium in the two programs!

That is exactly how I interpret with the "clarification" for the transition year for us 1Ks. (kind of like the e500 debacle). So UA throw us a bone and then turn around and smack you with it the following year.

Phone rings incessantly...it's the Boss!..."what do you mean they're mad as hornets, it couldn't have been clearer?"..."yes, sir, I'll rewrite it"..."jeez, what am I gonna say"..."there, that'll do it, what's the number of those computer guys in India?"..."time to get a beer"...

Yeah, lol, imagine that--one of the "beneficial" changes is actually now a benefit for UA elites! And CO elites, who got lots of real benefits in this round of changes, don't get this one. (!?) At least not so far.

then abandon this program in 2012?
For those people who were just looking or even said it's glad to see people to move out this program to increase your upgrade chance. Shame on you. The result is caused by those people's voice. You don't deserve to get back those 4 CR1s since you think it's ok for you to lose 4 CR1.
For those of you who don't care about lose 4 CR-1s.
Since now they are back for 2011.
I believe you would love to donate them.
Here is an example not to waste your unuseable 4 CR-1s and do something good.

We spend 20 times the amount of time in actual airports as the Pan-Asiatic and European fliers and they still have the same threshold. Well played "improvements"...

[conforming deletion of quote deleted as off-topic and deletion of some text replying to that quote] Very glad to see CR-1 accruals reset for 2011.
I don't care one whit about CO's program staying competitive. Instead, let's encourage UA to continue to improve Mileage Plus. And yes maintain E+

Totally agree... How is it a benefit for the 100 EQS traveler to get smacked with 20 more EQSs to qualify for 1k. May just be 20 more opportunities to complain to the CS agent at the desk per year.
