I flew CHO-IAD and IAD-CHO a total of 14 times in 2009 to get connections to SFO, LGA, or BOS. I believe at 77 miles it is one of the shortest, if not the shortest, route in the UA/UX network.

However, without that route (and the DEQM promo) I never would have made 1K.

I did over 200K EQM this year - probably right around 80k on UA metal. The only flights I took more than once were UA 100 SFO-IAD (3x) - and UA 803 IAD-NRT (2x). My flying is all over the place - not consistant to a few locales...I went thru SFO the most.

Who Flew the Most Miles on a Route in 2010

Total BIS miles on a single flight number.

For starters (and I'm sure it will be beat)

UA881 x 6 = 37,644

Ua 900 / 901 !!

The SFO-FRA and FRA-SFO route ruled for me.

UA 900/901 feels like an old friend. One that is rather nasty and I do not like being around. Someone I at first kind of look forward to seeing, but after being with him for an hour or two, remember why I really dislike him.

But I digress.....

oh, my miles are far far lower -- in fact lower than your per-segment rate:

total BIS miles on a UA flight number: 5222, for UA 167 BOS-LAX twice
total non-doubled, non-bonused UA EQM on a flight number: 5500 for AC 7679, 11 times, at the 500 mile minimum. it's been a long year.

I flew the route WAY too many times 6x in one week (MWF). It is a great use of e500^

I also frequented SFO-SNA/SNA-SFO.

An odd thing about the route is that if it's ever been difficult to upgrade, it's typically on the way to SFO (PDX-SFO) as opposed to SFO-PDX where I find it super easy to upgrade.
