So I'm about to depart next Tuesday for SFO-FRA-NCE-MUC-SFO, the return in mid June.
I got upgraded for SFO-FRA 11 days out. What is the best way to search inventory for the MUC-SFO segment, on which I applied 30 Plus Points? Do I search for the whole routing or just do a one-way search for the MUC-SFO segment? |

Question about upgrade with a young kid as companion.
1K traveling EWR - MXP with my 3 yr old daughter(!). Booked premium plus and waitlisted Polaris. I know United can split PNR at check in in case of upgrade, but not sure if they take care to keep a young child next to / in the same cabin as their parents. Obviously the best case is we both get upgraded, but I'm fine if none of us do. But I'm concerned about only 1 of us being upgraded (which obviously is not going to work at all given her age) Question: - Is this possible? what can I do to prevent this? - if it does happen, can I ask for refund of PP and cancel upgrade? (obviously I dont want to loose the PP) |

1K and just went ahead and booked IAH to HNL for my family (Sept 30th to Oct 6th). Four of us flying and waitlisted all of us for 1st class using PlusPoints. We shall see how this goes.

I have been tracking my PP (920) and all have been set to expire 31 Jul ‘23. Even emailed UA and asked for extension and was turned down. Working on GS challenge so booked some flights today and noticed I now have 320 that don’t expire until 31 Jul ‘24. Did I miss an announcement or something?! |
Mine are showing expiring 1/31/2024.
I have used hundreds of PP so far in 2023! |

I have 300 expiring in July. What can I do if I am not able to fly? Seems unlikely to get an extension?

Go to your account, the pluspoints section, view your current trips, and use the cancel function. When that doesn't work is when you need to call. |
