You should have request Orignal Routing Credit (ORC), might not be too late for ORC or could be use in a request for a re-review or challenge

Thanks for the suggestion. I just requested via web site form (maybe I should call?)

Checked last night and my status has updated to GS for 2024! First time qualifier after 7-8 years as 1k. Had an insane business travel year last year - 119k PQP, 100k on United metal, 44 segments. Hub is IAD, flights are mostly Polaris to Europe and SFO.

Did anyone get a status upgrade today that did NOT have one yesterday?

I got the notice yesterday that I re-qualified!
PQP: 46,284
PQF: 39
Base: NYC

Has anyone been called or emailed from United MP on their re-qualifying or being upgraded to GS? Or is everyone just finding out via the app?

Hi all - don't know what took me so long to join FT! Was hoping to be a first-time GS this year but my account didn't update in the big wave earlier this week. Curious what everyone here thinks as to if I have a chance before Jan 12 / if and how I should request a manual review of my account to make sure I wasn't skipped over. Thanks!

PQP: 71,000 (includes the starter bonus and only about ~1,000 not on UA)
PQF: 110
Home airport: IAD
Been 1K since 2019, last year had 57,000 PQP

From what I can see via the Facebook groups and FT members, everyone is finding out via the app.

No emails and/or calls. Seems a bit strange - you'd think at the very least UA would want to send out an email making a big deal out of it for first time members.

Id' say wait until the 12th and if you don't get an invite call and ask for a challenge. I think with those numbers, if they are all on United metal, you should get tabbed.

Tweener

I am sitting at 47k spend 74 segments all on United out of EWR. 53 CPM by my math.

My problem is probably very light travel during Covid which extended into 2022. Was GS in 2017 and 2018. 1k 2019-21. All the way down to gold in 2022. This year our job became our job again and back on the road.

we will see.

First time qualifier. 50.5 PQP out of LAX. If you count 016 stock, it was about 80k PQP.

I’m surprised that the poster wasn’t GS last year!

Without knowing the United metal spend of that $57K it's hard to say. We've had people before coming in and saying how much they spend and it turns out their calculations are incorrect.

I never had a call or email from UA regarding GS when I first was invited or subsequent requals.

It is disappointing but they are preparing you to be underwhelmed with the program and setting the stage for what to expect moving forward :D

Honestly, it blows my mind that they don’t have an automated email sent out with each milestone we reach.

Completely agree. Given the money they have invested in the app development (which if you ask me is industry leading) and the website - automated email is easy. They could generate so much more good will if they simply automated email messaging tied with status. I mean they bombard us with surveys after flights.
