The steel color matches perfectly with the terminal exterior color. What a coincidence?

Looks like solid construction compared to the double wide known as Terminals C&D.

Just another indication that the C Concourse Aerotrain station is going to be lonely for a long, long time.

Is there any news on the opening month/date for the lounge? Since every week, it seems like its progressing really fast.

No news. I'm sure progress will stall soon enough

In my limited experience, the large support structures go up quickly, but the interior and finishes seem like they take forever.

I do believe the current '2020' estimate, though.

Moved the discussion of IAD future terminal C/D to the existing discussion in https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unit...ad-dulles.html

Let's keep this thread focused on the future IAD Polaris Lounge

The problems happen afterwards when they try to turn on the lights and it doesn't work or different lights turn on. The toilets won't flush or the sinks won't drain. Then it tearing open walls again to get to pipes and wiring. Issues like these seem to be pervasive with restaurants.
