ORD > GRU > ORD
r/t early Nov
Not sure what booking code as I just looked for PZ
Cleared today at booking x3 pax
Lots of PZ inventory available on this route and even some IAH/GIG I see.
I think we should add $$$$ amount as well, $1500 each r/t

The point of posting the fare code is to show if the upgrades are happening at W or higher.
This thread allows you to see the days of the week and the flights where upgrades are successful.
It will be interesting after December 4 to see the mix of fare code and points for the successful upgrades - threads presumably split between international flights and domestic flights. Or perhaps 40 point/80 point upgrades and StW flights (and number of points!).

5. Purchased ~35 days prior
6. Cleared at check in
Was showing the 2-2-2 seat map until ~48 hrs prior when Polarized map appeared. Held steady at 8 free seats until check in when my GPU cleared. Approx 12 hrs prior to departure the inbound flight swapped from the polarized UA 944 out of ORD to an old 2-4-2 configured inbound out of IAD -UA 989- due to a 5.5 hr delay on UA944.
Had and a nice seat on the polarized aircraft but once the swap happened was automatically reassigned another. With a full cabin there were no open seats to choose from. Lots of swapping going on on board so people could sit next to their spouses/companions. Will not be a sad day when these 2-4-2 aircraft are all modded.

Well folks, this is your captain speaking. I thought I'd share an update on the progress of the GPU upgrade success spreadsheet:
Safe Travels,
James
- Upgrade Successes can be found in the tab titled GPU Success
- It has been updated to this point in time
- Upgrades to PremiumPlus are indicated with the R booking code
- In the future, if everyone can use R to indicate when they are booked into PY it would be appreciated since O is such an overloaded term (O means F on LH for instance)

James

If you want us to use R instead of O may I suggest the wiki be modified to reflect this. I follow instructions very well. 😀
Also, after December 4 are we going to include number of PlusPoints used? Or will this just be assumed based on the fare code?
