I've been monitoring this for a while, with a flex of a few days on either side. Lots of PN, and PZ finally popped up both directions. FWIW, there is still PZ=1 on the 6/2 flight.

First year as 1K and I'm absolutely in love with my GPUs - and so is my better half.

My first upgrade

1. SFO-FRA
2. March 19
3. W
4. Y-J
5. 3 weeks
6. 11 days (saw PZ available and upfared to W)

And already got a second one confirmed

1. TXL-EWR (2 people)
2. April 26
3. V
4. Y-J
5. 16 weeks 😵
6. 11 weeks

Interestingly ours were the only 2 upgrades processed and PZ availability disappeared a day or two later with no further upgraded processed. RM is mysterious.

are you sure the upgrade cleared into J and not PE?
Last I checked you can't use a GPU from Y-J when booked in L class.

There's no PE on LAX-LHR since it's operated on a 787-9. But I agree, would like some further insight on how a L-fare cleared.

LAS-LAX cleared ~7 weeks out; LAX-PVG cleared one week later (~6 weeks out)

Been tired of paying W fares to connect via SFO and missing out on the u/g, usually #2 or 3 on the list when doors close and stuck in Y ..

This time I booked via LAX as the J cabin looked pretty empty and BOOM! Scored the elusive J upgrade and now happy to be able to use a new Polaris Lounge (been to SFO and ORD ones already)

6. Cleared a few hours after requesting online on 4/15 (PZ=0)

Note: I actually had a PNR with 7 pax, but had to split one off so I could use my 6 GPU's. I ended up using a MUA on the 7th pax. The weird thing is it was showing PZ=0 before I put in the requests. The 6 pax including myself cleared within a few hours even with PZ=0. The 7th pax is still waitlisted. PZ still showing = 0...
