I would be more annoyed not to receive any offer if I wasn't finding my 350k UA miles increasingly difficult to redeem for decent value.
Really focused these days on transferable currencies (Chase, AMEX, SPG) which can be used in programs that still offer reasonable award availability.

Maybe this is still applicable for this thread?
Request
As a targeted promotion (thread title has been updated to reflect this), while this will be disappointing to some/many, a long series of "not me" does not add value to the discussion. So, let's dispense with reporting our (mine included) lack of eligibility. That is a fact of life of targetted promotions. Let's the "lucky" folks posts.

UA metal
I got fly 1 premium trip at least $1,400 and earn 25,000 miles so happy with that. What if I book a round trip on UA ticket stock 016, flying outbound on LX and return on UA, would this qualify as a "trip"? For sure the far will exceed the minimum by a lot.

For this promotion, only dollars spent on the "fare" on eligible flights operated by United® and United Express® will qualify toward meeting spending milestones. .... Dollars spent on tickets purchased for flights operated by Star Alliance™ member airline or a United MileagePlus® partner airline with tickets issued by United (ticket number starting with "016") will not qualify for this offer. The "fare" is the base fare of the ticket plus carrier-imposed surcharges, excluding any government-imposed taxes and surcharges.

Here's what I see in the fine print:
I'm not sure if that means that if you purchase an 016 ticket, and it includes non UA/UAX metal that the entire fare will not count, or if the fare spent toward that carrier won't count. For example, in your case, assume that the outbound/return fare is split evenly at 50%/50%...and, assume that the flight costs $2200 (with $200 of that being fees...so assume $2000 base fare). Does that mean that the $1000 PQD for the UA portion of the fare does not count? I know that the $1000 base fare for the LX portion won't...

Curiously, I got targeted for total 7700 bonus miles, but this one includes a MileagePlus Dining requirement, unlike what I've been reading above in this thread.
Book and take a trip - 3500 bonus miles.
Dine with MileagePlus Dining - 400 bonus miles.
Complete all activities: - 3800 more bonus miles.

Mile Play is a fun, new way to earn miles with United MileagePlus®. All you have to do is register and complete your activities by March 11, 2018, to get 7,600 bonus miles.
4 trips. Each purchased fare must be a minimum of $325 to qualify.
Yes it is a joke. That's $0.17/mile

Does anyone know if I purchase a "Bundle Offer" with my itinerary if it will count toward the "base fare"? For example, I need a flight of >$400. The U fare I'm looking at is $433, which shows $390 PQD. I can add an extra checked bag for $23, bringing the total fare price to $456. Any idea if that will count as a base far of $413 ($390+$23)? Or, if that's not possible, is there another way (maybe an upfare to a higher fare class for ~$25 or so)? I've never upfared before, so I don't know how that works...do I call UA for that? And just ask for an upfare to the next highest class? Or is there a way to get a higher fare on the website before booking the U fare that it's showing?
