Yay!

being UA, nothing would surprise me, but really, they could build a whole new kitchen by then!!

Post your DEN BF burger and pineapple cup here to mark the time until DEN catering is properly fixed...https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...74af1b6dd.jpeg

Wow. No effort at plating even? I hope you write it up Channa.

DEN is my home airport. One more inconsistency from United. OTOH, I care much less about upgrades since I can get the same food in the back. They did give chips with the burger a week or so ago.

Jan 7th first class meal on an 8 hour flight (UA 1758) DEN-KOA. THIS WAS A PAID TICKET, so I am even more angry!

LOL! Yep, award travel in the front of the plane to HNL/OGG/LIH/KOA has been virtually unobtainable for quite some time.

I keep staring at that picture wondering how one eats that pizza. I see no way to effectively get it cut into pieces inside that bowl. Just pick it up with your hands and rip it into pieces?

My DEN - TPA flight on (1/7) and TPA - DEN today have the same issues. Pineapple from a can/cup. Today's flight had a very apologetic FA who explained that catering issues in DEN resulted in no choice but a "doodah hamburger" for dinner. She at least opened the pineapple cup and poured into the bowl that normally has salad. Hamburger, but it was "plated". Dessert was the usual cheesecake with a layer of raspberry jello or whatever on top. Oh and a bag of chips in lieu of bread.

DEN-IAH lunch yesterday was either beefy Mac or lentils, both served with bread, cheesecake and the UAL pineapple bowl

Seems like they are trying to get some entrees back on line but produce supply and handling remains a challenge.

My vegetarian spouse was disappointed by the hamburger-only option in F DEN-BWI this week (battlefield upgrade). The FA provided her one of the snack boxes and said the problem now involves replacing the grout in the kitchen.
