Both the website, new and old, plus the iPhone app are accurately showing the cleared upgrades for domestic flights, but the cleared upgrades for International flights doesn't list cleared upgrades. Anyone else notice this?

I've stopped reporting this problem. They apparently don't care that it is broken.

This is just typical - I submitted the issue as feedback but didn't realize I needed to click their goofy --, -, -+, +, ++ rating thing at the top. If you click Send Feedback without a rating selected, the Send Feedback button goes away.

Sent feedback on that, too. :D

Using the app on my iPhone 5C I created two round trip international bookings, however I didn't complete the purchases, instead I farelock'ed both.

  • On Booking A, I carefully selected seats for each of four flights.
  • On Booking B, I did not select seats on any of the four flights.

Now, when I look at Booking A, there are no seat assignments. When I look at Booking B, there are seat assignments (system-generated ones).

I'm not a techie, but I'm wondering if part of the problem now is the fact that the new site is tied to the old site for almost everything but for the flight search function.

PLEASE: If someone from United Insider is lurking, FIX the glitch that doesn't allow different fare classes on different segments of the same trip.

Very annoying!

Also, since I'm dreaming, why not allow search for R availability?

Works fine for me as well on Safari. In fact I don't think it's a browser-specific issue, which are actually quite rare in this day and age.

I think the inability for the site to remember some users' credentials may be the result of a corrupted cookie. Have you tried deleting your United cookies, then quitting and relaunching your browser?

I have just noticed something that I wonder is related. United flight itineraries always used to get added automatically to my Google Calendar - suddenly that has stopped. The other thing is that the email that is generated by United no longer has that fancy schmancy look to it with the United flights at the head of the note so it looks like the emails from United are not being recognised any longer as events. I don't have any flights to book for the rest of this year on United so is anyone else noticing this issue? I am not sure if it related to the "new" United.com.

the "backdoor" way to do this is to go to the ios/android app, go to the reservation, and "email summary" to your gmail.

always works for me, although if these emails were changed then it might not.

Great thought, did it, but it didn't work and I get the "flat" email again without the fancy header.
