Consolidated: Is united.com or parts of it down?

Workaround for Login & "Were sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request." Problems:

Close United tab, clear browser cache, and delete all United cookies. Instead of logging back in using the home page yellow tile, click on the "Reservations -> Change or view reservations" link, and then login using the "MileagePlus: Sign in or join" link on the upper right of the page.

united.com - unexplained behavior

Not sure where to report this - feel free to move as necessary. I made a reservation that includes a few UA segments, and subsequently added it to my account on united.com.

Now, when I log into my account using Firefox - there is nothing under "change or view existing reservations"
When I log in using Safari (from the same computer, mind you) - the reservation is listed under "existing reservations"

I re-added it in Firefox twice. Re-adding seems to be broken as well - I am asked for account and password on the next screen, as if not logged in, then reservation seems to get added and stick around until the end of Firefox session. Then it's gone again - but only in Firefox. It's visible in Safari all the time.

How the heck is that even possible? (I might try to fake browser agent and see what happens)

I've had active reservations show up under the "Inactive" tab a couple of times. The location of the reservation didn't affect the reservations themselves.

Nothing under inactive either in Firefox. I have two browsers open side by side, signed out and back in just now - one shows the reservation, another shows empty page.

Honestly, this is some high grade voodoo. It takes extra work to be able to implement something like this.

I am having trouble logging in. Plus when I try to book a ticket, it comes backed that it failed. Obviously, united.com is down.

In my experience, .bomb has become very unstable under Firefox. If there is any doubt, delete all the United cookies (hamburger menu, options, privacy, remove individual cookies).
This often helps when I get unexplainable behavior. Hint: don't blame it on the browser

Definitely not blaming it on the browser

Also - for security reasons my browsers are set up to delete all cookies on restart, so I just tried both "from the clean slate". Same result.

United.com government portal is down on Edge. It works on IE9. On Edge, I cannot press the submit button.

Got it just now trying to change an award booking. This is some serious programming awfulness.

wwww.united.com

Wanted to book a Hertz car through united.com, and the clickable link kept giving a SERVER NOT FOUND error. Rather odd I thought, until realizing that the link was:
http://wwww.united.com/hertz?int_source=loyalty&mode... etc.

Pure genius, IT dept, pure genius!

I cannot imagine what is going with UA website. I have booked two Delta flights in the past 6 weeks because I cannot get the UA website to cooperate retrieving information. I surely don't trust it to book any flights. WTH are they DOING?

Unable to process your request

Searching for basic RT flights is not working (4/17/16 @10:50AM EDT) Simple search, no awards or anything "exotic" and not even logged in for fear of cookie issues. This is just sad.....
