Im about to depart Houston for ATL in a new 175 that was delivered from Brazil just 3 weeks ago.
2 hours is one if the longer RJ adventures Ive had, but so far Im more comfortable in this FC cabin than the A320 on earlier. Maybe just because its shiny and new?

But both AC and US operate their E170-family a/c as mainline. On AC their E175/190's even have AVOD...
If flying in the Y cabin, I believe this is the best single-aisle a/c flying right now, because it's large enough to have full-size overhead compartments (large enough to fit a standard rollaboard) while there are now middle seats.

US operates E170/175 as USX. E190 is mainline.

The E170-195 family really shouldn't be lumped in with the smaller RJ's, even though the E170-195's are usually operated by regional carriers.

I have probably flow every segment listed above this year. The CR700 and E175/190s are tolerable but the RJs are a joke. I am averaging about 75 cpm on these tiny, uncomfortable, smelly airplanes.
Of the 30 UX flights this year 3 have been on time. This week I have had 7 hours of delays and 3 missed connections.

Wow. These posts are crazy. Is UA the only carrier flying RJ's on these long routes? Do AA and DL do the same? Does UA know and more importantly if they do know they are the only carrier to fly these long routes do they care?

Not only do they seem to be the longest (paging mduell...would love to see a top 10 longest list for DL/AA) but the OALs of course have a much better soft product / sometimes wifi to tolerate said long flights.

And even though Rouge is focused on the lower-cost leisure market most of their planes have a premium cabin and the E-175's will retain their AVOD.
