Don't do that. Taking money in exchange for your miles or an award ticket violates the terms of the program and can lead to your account being shut down.

As aacharya said, you can buy a song through the UA store and keep the account alive for another 18 months. Or send your spouse flowers. There are lots of cheap ways to add a few miles and reset the clock.

You've got enough miles for 3 domestic tickets, why throw them away?

4600miles

My wife's account has just 4,600 miles. We will no longer use this account. Anything positive we can do with such a small amount? Thanks.

+1 on magazines. I find this a great way to burn miles for programs I seldom use. Economist is great value, compared to the price of the mag.

OP should note that this would cost $15 per 1000 miles + a $30 transaction fee for a total of $105. They do occasionally have transfer bonus miles or discount promos, although nothing at the moment.

Best way to use 180K miles ?

I have 183K miles in my MP account, and base in Stockholm this year.

Any good advise or any best options out there to redeem/ use them ? two birds with one stone strategy

Many thanks!!

The best redemption is a Star carrier C or F long haul international award.
