Anyone else having very long search times failing 2/3s of the time? Search long-dated award travel.

On desktop accessing united.com: tried booking two different award trips and get errors about contact web support. a few minutes later was able to successfully book an award trip.
On mobile app: tried to book award trip. start with award search. signing in with account/password failed several times. a few minutes later was able to signin and successfully booked an award trip.

Is it just me? Payment fails with:
I tried three different cards, get the same error every time

I tried to do a booking and got a generic error. Tried logging out and back in, same thing. Cookies cleared, same. App works fine.
Usually if I get this one, all it takes to clear it is to reload the page, or at worse close it and try again.
