After SQ left huge amounts of inventory available during their recent system upgrade, I suspect it will be a long while until they get back to offering award travel beyond KrisFlyer members. It sounds like the equivalent of several years of awards were booked that weekend.

SQ is readily available for regional flights and Y for long haul by calling. There's nothing on .sux since the SQ free for all.

Then why is your post entitled, "United still blocking all SQ awards"?

Any SQ award availability at all via united.com?
Has anyone seen SQ flights - even economy - come up on united.com recently? I went to check SIN-HKG prior to calling to switch flights for my parent's existing award, and united.com shows no SQ flights even existing. I call in and I get the same from the agent - no SQ flights at all. The only options given are UA, TG, etc.
And by no flights, I mean they don't show up as an option for a route that I've seen previously available with more than enough saver econ and some business. Over on ANA, plenty of flights show and they have availability.
Is this what starnet blocking used to look like?

I was wondering that too! Question is whether it's SQ or UA being cautious...
Or maybe it's the polar opposite of SQ's last "glitch" - instead of releasing everything their new crack IT team releases nothing...

Add me to the puzzled list why they aren't showing revenue tickets...
Might have a trip the end of Sept. that could be ORD-SYD-SIN-ORD.
.bomb can't put together an itinerary for me.
ETA: Might be SQ's problem. Got this on ACs website (Flight 2 is SYD-SIN):
Flight 2: This route cannot be booked online.
However, one of our Star Alliance partners may offer flights on this route, and reservation can be completed by calling Air Canada Reservations.

It's really not that complicated. I asked if UA is still blocking all SQ awards, I knew half the answer, which is that the extra SQ avail is no longer, the other half, was generally avail to UA and still avail to partners, and thus remains a question.
