The Fleet Status site is:
https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/
At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.
To determine which plane your flight will be on go to mobile.united.com and then click on flight status. Put in the flight number for your flight and just have it use today's date (occasionally it'll say flight not operated on this date in which case just choose one of the other 3 dates it lists). In the address bar you'll see something like this:
mobile.united.com/FlightStatus/FlightDetails?carrierCode=UA&flightNumber=1205&fli ghtDate=9%2F22%2F2013&origin=EWR&destination=SFO
Just change the flight date to match the day of your scheduled flight and then change the origin / destination if necessary. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.
Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement (e.g. putting a new/converted p.s. plane entering into service).

^^.
Their wifi page still claims they'll be outfitting 25 planes per month with wifi. According to the Google Docs fleet site, there are only ~20 planes with wifi...and they've been working on it for well more than a month. What's the hold-up? I have some 319 flights coming up that I was expecting to have a better chance of having wifi than I think I will have...

Type of seats to HNL?
Specifically the 3 class going from IAH - HNL.
Do the business class seats lie flat or just recline?
Thanks

HNL2017- You can look up the flight status on the United web page. The aircraft number is usually listed. If you're less than 24 hours out it is less likely to change. However, aircraft changes are not too uncommon, so I wouldn't get too excited about a particular aircraft until an hour or two prior to departure.

And there are actually four 744s out at the moment (105, 117 and 175 at AMECO, and 107 at SFO base). Plus the usual cranky suspects falling ill at inconvenient times.................

Apologies if this has already been addressed.
What will the future IAH-LHR service look like?
A while ago it was a 777 and a 787. Now looking at the end of this year it is down to a single 767.

LHR is a slot controlled airport and CO, I mean UA, runs 757s between EWR and LHR. Brilliant.

The 787 was announced as doing an LHR flight however that soon was scrapped and it went back to 2 777s then a 777 & 764. Currently right now IAH - LHR is flown with 2 3-cabin 763s. I also looked at the schedule and I see 3 IAH - LHR flights operating the end of the year.

Looks like the FlightAware link to N17627 is directing to N17626.
Also, doesn't look like N16632 is exiting the fleet - it's still flying.

It's been hard to figure on the 735 fleet. Aircraft ferry over to HOU, then ferry back and re-enter service. several units have been in IAH for days, then re-emerge on revenue flying. Right now, I'm showing N32626 in HOU since 3/28, N14629 ferried IAH-HOU 6856/30Mar. All others, including N17627 are shown in revenue service on FlightAware, then confirming flights flown via united.com Flight Status.
