I know it's probably been said here many times before (I'm relatively new to the UA forum), but your photos, UA_Flyer, are absolutely incredible! UA should hire you for marketing - you make their mediocre UA J food look better than CX/SQ/LH F meals! Thanks for posting!

Just had my first flight in GF, as I come from the sCO side.
Compared to all my other flights in C this year, I'd say the meal service is marginally better. There's the soup - which I didn't even notice on the menu until I was asked if I really didn't want it - the extra entree and the separate menu with the wine list.
Service was about the same I've experienced in BF on sCO and sUA planes, alright but nothing spectacular - we had continuous light with occasionally moderate turbulence (per Ch. 9) throughout dinner, so maybe that was a factor. Something I noticed was that they did not hand out hot towels, which was a first for me.
On the plus side, it was also the first time on sUA that I was asked if I wanted to be woken up for breakfast (no) and we had an extremely quiet and dark cabin until TOD 30 mins before landing, which made for great sleep.
Overall, a positive experience, but one I don't think is really worth paying for with a full fare.

GF LAX-SYD - What to Expect?
I'm flying GF LAX-SYD tomorrow (late night departure from LAX). Have the promised 2Q improvements happened? It's my first time on this route. What is the timing and type of meal service?

2012 Let's Eat - International First, BusinessFirst, & Business Class
I flew global first IAD-GRU on 5/19 and definitely no improvements. Soup, salad with optional scallops, and 4 choices of entree including a pretty bad steak which I had.
