Passed 100k just before Thanksgiving, >75k EQM on UA, >25K Elite Miles on CO. Accounts have been linked forever and previously status-matched, but no new SWUs or CR1s in my MP account yet.
My inclination is not to say anything until January if still not there, so that maybe I can get an extra month, but any reason to be concerned?

A single SWU will upgrade the whole itinerary. But if the flights have a single flight number and you book them as a direct flight, then upgrade availability has to exist on both portions at the same time for you to clear. Ideally you book this as two different flight numbers. Or, you can book a single flight number with a break as two independent segments, but I'm less clear on how to do that.
