How long does it take to get the new cards and SWU's?
I have been a CO Plat and UA 1P, my main acct is CO.
My eqms are 75k/25k Co/Ua
Will I also get a Presidential Plat designation or is that 100k eqm with a dollar spent requirement?

I doubt they'll send a new card out for the 2011 year. PPlat is 100k + spending.

I know I should be happy for you but I get really frustrated to see people hit 1k with only 16 segments! I know it's a revenue thing but it really sucks that in order to hit 1k, some of us have to fly all over the midwest, every week for an entire year and still not rack up 100k miles.

I regained 1K status on 14 November. My SWU's were posted sometime around 11/24. I was told yesterday by a CSR that I could expect my new card in about 2-3 weeks.

I crossed the 120 flight segments on 11/18 and just logged in and saw 1k on my united account. Granted I didn't look in the last 3 or 4 days so 7-10 days to post. The SWUs have yet to post. Oh all miles/segments were in my one pass account.

CO=16,837 EQM
Made it by 93* miles!!!
*But, got 4-5 more trips planned this year, so should end up around 110,000 EQM when it's all said & done.

and will cross over to 1K after a flight next month ^ which works well for me since it makes my 2012 SWU's longer dated.

Duh - miscalculated
Not sure what I did wrong with my maths, but with Platinum bonus on a Z class fare, I'm getting 7251 each way to London, so that will leave me at 98717 by early Dec.
So now I need just 1300 EQM. I found a same-day RT IAH->SEA->IAH for $282, so that should do the trick nicely.

Made it!
Just crossed over 100K and made it 1K again for 2012.
Not sure how much will I fly next year as I am hoping to start a new career which may not require travel.
