I took advantage of the awesome weather in PHL...visited Valley Forge National Park, which is fast becoming my favorite place in this area.

Good morning Box.

Morning, all. Boston Marathon is all fine and good, until you realize that your neighborhood is bordered on two sides by the marathon route, and you have to find a way to cross it (and the barriers) to get to work.

Finally back to EWR. Got out of ORD an hour early by switching from a UA flight to a CO one. Gave up F on the UA flight for 22B on the CO flight but worth it to be home early.

Now I get to camp out at the PClub until my Global Entry interview the afternoon. I hope I pass. :)

Hooray Global Entry!

The look on the CBP agent's face as he reviewed my recent travel history was pretty awesome.

Check out unitedcontinentalholdings.com and look for the media relations or press room link. In there should be a link for listening to it streaming online. Too had to find on my BB; sorry.

It is on 46th & 6th. Not too far from a couple customer sites or home, really. And a rather entertaining way to spend some time every now and then. Always an interesting scene. :)

UA canceled my flight this evening; 1P agent rebooked me on US, but US's website gives me an error when I try to check the reservation. If I didn't have more experience with US's website, I might be concerned.

US system requires one to delete all flight information in your record to get their system to regonize your new flights. we auto rebook puts you on new flights you still may have to have a UA agent clean up the record.

Thanks.

Ultimately, it didn't matter. My US flight canceled (crew timed out) and I didn't wait around to see how they rebooked me and instead got on an AA flight that was eventually canceled also. WN (airline #4) finally got me here this morning (should have just gone to them yesterday).

They haven't canceled my return yet, and I'm checked in, so we'll see if I can actually get on the plane tomorrow!

Evening, Box. I have a toughie up-or-down question on a proposed MR.

I currently have a CO/UA DFW-ICN MR reserved, and am completely on the fence as to whether I should ticket tomorrow (assuming Bill Me Later cooperates, which it should). The fare is 759.65, and the routing is:

22MAY DFW-EWR-HNL (overnight HNL, which I'm absolutely cool with )

23MAY HNL-GUM (overnight GUM, which is less cool but OK since it's a new city and a chance to visit the one United Continental hub I've never seen in person)

25MAY GUM-NRT-ICN (3 hour layover in NRT, so little chance of glowing in dark once I reach Seoul).

27MAY ICN-NRT-EWR-DFW (whew!)

Total EQMs: 21,315 Total RDMs: 42,630 (perhaps more if The Extra Mile program can still be signed up for)

I should also point out that I have a CO 2010 year SWU that I can apply to the booking, such as to experience the flat beds on NRT-EWR if that matters in your calculations.
So Box, should I go for it, and hold my fire?

Thanks for all replies.

Wow! Bless your heart.

While I cant say if you should do it or not..
Is ICN-NRT operated by UA?
If its CO metal, you can apply the SWU all the way from ICN through DFW. (if EWR-DFW is CO metal as well). I bet you already knew that though.

For me personally, this is a really tough itin to do in Y...so I personally would not do it.
