LHR-IST J class

Hello All,

What seat configuration do they run on this flight?

These sorts of distance flights always seem to be tricky between standard European J or long haul J. it's also an overnight flight. What do Turkish use? Will my first time with them.

There are four flights a day, equipment ranges from A321, A330 to B777. Which one are you booked on? Currently none of them would have Euro business, it is either recliner or fully flat.

Looks like an A321 with recliner seats (think US domestic F)

That should be bearable as long as I can put my feet up then.

Do they have showers in the arrival lounge?

It shows an A330 all-right but with a rather odd seat configuration.

i noticed that as well. according to seat guru it's angled flat. but according to google flights is a lie flat.. and then i see this on the TK website, which further complicates things because that layout seems like a CRJ layout!

Looks exactly like the Jet Airways A330-200 J cabin.

you're right. but i thought TK was done leasing planes from Jet airways? but in that case it's not a bad hard product; i just prefer reverse herringbone over herringbone..

Etihad has a leased Jet A332 that flies back and forth between AUH and JNB, so I'm well familiar with this configuration. I do not like it.

The seat is just fine for sleeping, but that's all it has going for it. There is no in-seat storage whatsoever; you feel cramped and boxed in; with the tray table stowed, glasses etc. can only be placed on a narrow ledge, and are constantly at risk of being knocked over; with the tray table extended, you are more or less imprisoned; looking out the window is a pain in the neck, literally; on this particular aircraft at least, all the seats I've tried have an annoying tendency to jiggle as soon as you shift your weight; and the cabin is dark and uninviting.

Not my favorite aircraft.

Does TK77/78 IST-MIA-IST have wifi? If yes, is it fast enough to fork out the €14.99?
