Turkish Airlines Short-Haul Business Class

Soon I will be flying with Turkish Airlines, on my first leg to Istanbul there is scheduled Airbus A321.

But most of times there is A320 servicing this route.

I would like to know if there is also on A320 the new Business Class (2+2) or is still old Business Class (3-3) with middle seats blocked.

Because as I read A321 is featured with new Business Class.

Thanks

TK, you never know I had on the A320 both, 3-3 and 2-2.

I've got a few flights in Business class coming up with Turkish. I was hoping you guys can shed some light on the type of product we might experience.

The first flight is TK 1722 from Berlin-TXL to Istanbul-IST. Aircraft is Airbus A330-200.

SeatGuru shows the following layout:

TurkishAirlines.com lists the aircraft as 33A and shows the following seating chart:

SeatGuru shows rows as 1-4, but TK.com shows it as rows "-", 5 and 6?

The next flight is TK 1029 from Istanbul-IST to Sofia-SOF. Aircraft is Airbus A320.

SeatGuru shows the following layout:

TurkishAirlines.com lists the aircraft as AIRBUS A320-232 shows the following seating chart:

Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi - flying IST-MRU next summer, but the seat map isn't available on seatguru...any advice if the business class seats are lie-flats?

Thank you.

This is the ex-TAM Airbus with first class seats in row 1

Kinda hard to say as you don't give any other info than the route. What aircraft is scheduled? Which day are you flying?

The 333s generally have lie-flat seats, check this thread. Please note that aircraft changes may happen, your seat map will be available starting from 100 days before departure.

Expert Flyer is showing a 321 labelled as 32N with economy starting at row 6 which is labelled an exit. The next exit is row 20.

Is this the proper biz confit 321? I seem to recall those that do not have the Euro seats go to around row 9 and exits at door 2 are very much in the business cabin. There are three 321 configs?

So what config is this plane?

According to an earlier post (post #549), "32N" aircraft are ex-Kingfisher configuration with proper business class, but there has been one post indicating that even though the aircraft type for his flight was shown as 32N, C class ended up being 3+3 seats with the middles blocked.
I had the same question a while ago, see post #611 and the subsequent responses.

Edit: I checked the seat maps for my "32N" flight, and the config is 20 C seats, 158 Y seats. According to post #549 that I linked to, that is an ex-Kingfisher aircraft with "proper" business class seats.

This is interesting indeed. So it has a very generous business lay-out far more than the regular non-Euro recliner seats on the 321.

And this means the exit row is definitely at row 6 in Y.

What aircraft does TK refer to as a "32B" to & from ASH?

Sorry for the newbie question, but trying to book some travel to the "Stans" and see Ashkhadad Turkmenistan (ASH) shows as a "32B"?

I assume that is an airbus A320, but the flight from IST-Tashkent (TAS) shows as "Airbus 321" so curious they did not label ASH as "Airbus A320".

Is it really worth the extra for business class on these planes, for 4 or 5 hour flights?

I read that there are no fixed business lass seats, similar to many European carriers an the simply allocate a few rows of coach for any Biz tickets booked?

No idea what lounge would be used in TAS. They have an 8m and a 2.45am. If lounge is OK might look at the redeye.

Thanks for any help here.

Also wondering about the same thing.

My flight from OSL to IST was originally on "32B". Now it says "32M".

IST-OSL is "Airbus 321-232" so that is pretty clear

Be aware that some times (randomly) IST-OSL is served by A330, a far better experience than A321
32B is not an A330 though

We will have a day or 2 in Norway en route to IST, so hope for the A330.
