I went to YYZ to update my passport and DL. There were only CBSA officers there. I can see in GOES that the new passport is updated but the DL is not. Do I need to go back?
Canada has your info now, and updating GOES will give it to the Americans |

Could you just update the DL expiry on GOES and be done with it?

I haven't updated my occupation on my NEXUS card in a while and the record still shows that I'm in school. Do I need to let them know I have graduated and am now unemployed?
The only problem is, my next flight is at 6:10am, so I won't even get a chance to catch the NEXUS office being open (I'm in Toronto). And one final question: being Canadian, do I have to speak to both the Canadian and US officers when I sign in? More importantly, if I don't get to the NEXUS office by the time I fly, would it make more sense for me to avoid the NEXUS line and just line up with the regular folks? |

I got my DL after I applied for NEXUS so it doesn't show up at all.

I am already a member of Global Entry. I am now trying to apply for Nexus but after I logged onto GOES, I only have a choice of applying for FAST. Where is the button to apply for Nexus? Thanks.

I just had my interview last night. All went well. The officers were professional yet friendly.
They told me that it could take up to six weeks to receive my card - although when pressed on the matter I was told that it will most likely be about ten days. The officers were both very clear that updated information only needs to be entered into GOES. There is no need to update information with Canada independently. One thing threw me for a loop. On GOES, it says that I am now enrolled in Global Entry. Yet the US officer told me that I might not be able to use Global Entry without my NEXUS card. He said to call the port of entry to ask. I have an international trip in a few days, and was hoping to use Global Entry upon my return (to Boston). From what I can tell, I don't need my NEXUS card to use Global Entry. But now I'm a little bit shaken... |

How do you change you home address online? The only thing that I can change online is the mailing address but not home address!

Off-topic: I do find it odd that GOES allows us to modify our country and place of birth. What the...? |

Where are you seeing "home address"? I don't see two different address fields in GOES. I only see "Mail-To address".

If you're a US citizen, you should have enrollment in all 3 trusted traveler programs (NEXUS, GE, SENTRI).

I assume that the SENTRI benefit is limited to entering the United States from Mexico - and is not available for entry into Mexico from the United States. Is this correct?

APEC/ABTC Revoked with Passport Renewal?
For those with ABTC/APEC cards (now that Canada has re-issued them), has anyone changed their passport after their initial approval? As a relatively new program, I'm not sure if anyone else has.
Unfortunately I had to complete my passport renewal today as I ran out of pages for visa's, and from all I've read my APEC card is tied directly to my passport - with that number included on the back. I'm not sure if I have to re-apply for the ABTC program all over again, or if I'll have a re-issued card, as the terms of enrollment state: The ABTC is valid for three years, unless the member’s passport and/or NEXUS card expires. |

When you go to profile section you will find home address and mailing address. I changed the mailing address but I can't change the home address to make it matching to my mailing address!

In late November, I am flying from the US to Europe with a 6 hour layover at YYZ. I am thinking about applying for NEXUS with my wife while we are there. I would want it more for Pre Check and GE than going to Canada. Since I have the time to kill, I wanted to look into it.
We would be arriving on AC from MSP hopefully around 2 PM on a Wednesday. We are departing on AC around 8 PM. How easy is it to get an interview or is it too late already? How easy is it to get to the interview location from where I'll be arriving at the airport? Is there any time that I should schedule the interview for? I don't want to schedule it too early in case of delays or if it takes a while to get to the interview location. |
