Thank you, yesterday's trip was to Ogdensburg so I said "just use a passport" (no Nexus lane) but that's good info for future reference.

November 27, 2017: paper application sent to Nexus office in Canada
December 4, 2017: estimated receipt date
December 7, 2017: credit card charged
January 10, 2017: approved (no interview requested) I consider this fast and excellent service!
___: card not yet received (might be January 16, 2018 based on hardeethind's post ad 1/15/2018 being a federal holiday with no mail delivery)

Just did my renewal online today. The new website was a little frustrating, and it timed out really fast at the end when I had to make my payment. Let the waiting game begin.

Welcome to FT. Thank you for sharing your data. It looks like a good time for applying NEXUS. For those on the fence, apply now instead of later in the year.

I wanted to share my experience for a renewal. This forum was a great resource for me five years ago when i first applied for a NEXUS card. I learned a lot about the process, how to expedite it, what to expect, etc.

I just submitted my renewal application about two weeks ago. For the people who got approved without interview, do you get a notification through email that you were approved or did you just check your application status manually every so often?

Wow it's getting quick! I applied for renewal on January 4th and got approved without interview on February 1st. My wife who did her renewal in November last year took 6 weeks.
