Hmm. The Clear agent at IAD yesterday had a little bottle of hand lotion she asked me to use when I was trying for about the 4th time. Still didn't work.
It's odd. I must have used CLEAR over 100 times since having it and have never had any problems with fingerprints until this week. Have never done anything special with adding/removing dirt or oil before.
Hopefully just a fluke.

My code is LD18H7S60VX6X5
Enjoy.
What's interesting is that this trial includes 3 family members (I guess anyone over 18 needs to have their ID scanned as well).
I can't remember if it's already been mentioned, but it appears MSY is next.
Enjoy.

Thank you for sharing your code. I used it today for 3 months of free access. I’m really looking forward to using CLEAR in October, as we are flying Icelandair for the first time and our TSA PreCheck won’t be valid for that flight. Thanks again!

If anyone has a guest pass, please PM me and I will put it to use. I've been traveling to MSP lately and while the line is generally efficient, if anyone has a free pass... why not?
Already enrolled several years ago, found it handy but not worth the $$$. So reactivation is just popping in the code and enjoying the use without any enrollment or additional effort required.

I feel the same way about Miami too. Both DFW and MIA are my main airports I'm traveling through lately. It's a life saver for SFO. I always feel a little awkward as the CLEAR rep says to TSA, aloud, I have PreCheck, as I'm escorted close to the front of the line of people ready to place items on the xray table. Thos people in the PreCheck queue waiting to see TSA are like, "me too..."

Buy Clear or Not? Doesn't Seem Worth It...At Least Given My Flying Needs.
I'm a Delta Gold, and a "Costanza" with United, Jet Blue and others.
I can't see spending $100+ per year for Clear because:
- The only airport that I reguarily depart from that has Clear is MSP (20 depatures per year).
- I normally buy the lowest cost ticket available, so I seldom travel during peak times.
- I always get to the airport 2 hours early.

If always getting to the airport 2 hours early is an article of faith for you, rather than a response to how early you need to get to the airport, then Clear is definitely not for you.
If not, then Clear would allow to cut that in half or more where you are able to use it.

Clearly, sir, you don't need Clear..however a little clarity on the matter might help: Credit Card reimbursement for incidental travel costs? Do you travel for business? I would assume your office would pick up the expense, I know I would prefer my staff to be rested, calm, & relaxed during transit, they make better decisions and do better work that way...(incidentally it is the same logic that applies to paying for first/business international and comfort+ domestic)
What do you value your time at? One bad wait once a year can make Clear a clear choice assuming you value your time somewhere around minimum wage...
Even if you are paying for Clear yourself surely you see the value of the incremental reduction in reducing travel hassles..In my advanced diving courses we spent significant time discussing how physical, emotional, & psychological stress is cumulative and that once it reaches a certain point most stress reduction techniques will not be effective enough in time to stop catastrophic bad decision making..
Clear, GE, lounge access, and anything else I can think of that reduces the impact of the travel process on me and my team, (including when I travel for leisure) is worth the effort and expense...
All that being said YMMV!!
Clear Skies & tailwinds!

If your primary checkpoint is at MSP and you arrive at least 2 hours before a domestic flight, I can't see any value to you in CLEAR. Nothing at MSP would make me want to be at the airport early, especially because DL does not have a premium lounge at a fortress hub (or anywhere).
But, even if you cut that time down substantially, I don't see a value to CLEAR without Pre-Check.and frankly. I then see CLEAR as a very occasional value because even long Pre-Check lines move quite rapidly

"The firm" of course pays for all business travel expenses, but they will not pay for Pre-Check, Clear, Lounges, and Business Class (except for 10+ hours in flight).
"The firm" doesn't require me to live close to the office, but does require that I attend important meetings (routine meetings are done via Skype; on my nickel to get to the office for other meetings (6 to 12 per year)). I thus have the "big" house 1000 miles away from the office and a dreary little studio apartment one mile away.

lol at the idea that clear would contribute significantly to being "rested, calm and relaxed"
I routinely cut it extremely close at the airport and I would absolutely not pay for clear, even at the reduced price that you can get it as a delta medallion.
So far this year it's "saved" me a total of maybe 15 minutes over 100 segments, and that 15 minutes was suddenly productive time, it's just 15 minutes standing in line looking at my phone versus 15 minute sitting after security looking at my phone.
