Both my husband and myself have completed the process.
Applied: August 12 (myself), August 13 (my husband)
Conditional approval: October 19 (both of us)
Interview: October 28 (my husband), October 29(myself)
On our return flight from BUF, my husband get TSA precheck on his boarding pass when he checked in on October 29 which is one day after he was final approved. But I didn't get TSA precheck on the same flight. Anybody know why? Is it because I was approved on a Saturday, it takes one business day to process in the system? Is there any way for me to check whether I get TSA precheck?

Precheck is never guaranteed but I was told that the GE privileges (which include TSA Pre) kick in a day after your approval, so maybe that's it.

Do the cards get generated and mailed locally or from a centralized office?
I had my interview at YVR on 10/24 and received my card today. It came from a centralized location: CBP's main HQ in Washington DC (same as Global Entry/Sentri cards).

I didn't even notice the expiration date on my new card till I read your post. It expires on my birthday in 2022. Closer to six years than five.

Thanks much for the info! Sounds like we'll be able to get scanned when we go up, this is great news!

Timeline:
Both applied on Aug. 18
Wife approved Oct. 14
Me approved Oct. 24
Next day interviews available at all 3 MN/ND offices

Update:
The interview (Thurs 11/3) was interesting. They seemed to ask a lot of questions about whether I had encounters with law enforcement many years ago; much more than I would have expected. They did not provide details but I suspect it was due to the fact that as part of my gaming license renewal I was fingerprinted every year for a number of years while I worked at a local casino, so maybe they were on file and showed up as a match without any additional info? Don't know, but they grilled me on it for quite a bit, then both agents met privately for about 5 minutes before bringing my wife in, which lasted all of 2 minutes. I got the feeling they didn't trust my story or something.

Wife had her approval e-mail before we pulled out of the parking lot, but I didn't get mine until today (also concerning given the extra scrutiny and discussion they had). Not sure why mine took longer on both ends, but I'm approved now. Wife got her card in the mail today, too.

Both applied: Aug 18
Initial Approval: Wife 10/14, me 10/24
Interviews: 11/3
Final approval e-mail: Wife 11/3, me 11/7
Card received: Wife 11/7, me not yet.

One thing to note: Fort Frances, ON (across from International Falls) DOES have an iris scanner. It's not listed on the website yet, but I chatted with the agent there while scanning us and she indicated it's a permanent location, it's just not listed on the site yet. So that's an option for anyone going up that way. I had the same experience as zeebanker; after the interviews they explained the process and suggested we run across to get our iris scans at the Canadian office. A quick pitstop at Tim Horton's and we were back across 30 minutes after our interview was done. Easy peasy! (Aside from the extra grilling I got ) Note that there is a $7 toll to cross the bridge by car from the US.

Interviewed on 29 October and card received in mail today, 7 November. Our interview was a Saturday, so we were 5 business days to get the card.

I've been lurking on this thread a while, and decided to update with my info.
Applied online on Aug 29, and to date I am still waiting on Approval; but I have a US work-permit (Canadian) so there might be more checks because of that.

I live in California, so I'll probably need to merge the interview with some travel north; anyone have any info on the current interview dates in Seattle/WA/YVR area, or YYZ/Niagara-Buffalo?

Nexus Approval

I applied online on September 4th-the day I received Global Entry final approval.
I also applied online for my two children, who also received their Global Entry approval. These applications were completed one after the other.

A few hours later, submitted application for my wife. She does not have Global Entry.

November 8th I received conditional approval as did my two children.

My wife has not yet been approved.

November 9th was the first available interview at Champlain, New York. I plan to be up there towards the end of December, so I booked three consecutive appointments. Hoping my wife's application will be approved soon enough to book an appointment at approximately the same time.

So as an update; I just got my Conditional Approval this morning. (11/11) Which puts the processing time at roughly 11-weeks for me.

From looking at the various Interview sites, most had either current dates (~3days or so), Most city airports had about a month wait (YVR is end of Nov, YYZ is end of Dec, Montreal is Mid-Dec) , and some like Seattle Airport had dates into April 2017.

Personally, I am going to Blaine, WA in early December. The schedule there is essentially wide open.

Any chance you would be able to check the availability of the couple offices near Buffalo and Niagara falls please?

Heading up in late December so I'm hoping my family and I can combine it all. Otherwise it will be a 6 hour trip to the border on its own. Applied on October 3.
