With a family of 4, would they conditionally approve all of of us at the same time or around the same date at least? I can't see kids under 10 taking long unless they have a history of flying into certain countries or certain areas of the world.

After interview for my 7 month old, the card came in 7 days (not business days, just days)

Your application for the Trusted Traveler program is now pending review

On the GOES website they should change:

Your application for the Trusted Traveler program is now pending review

To:

Your application for the Trusted Traveler program is still pending review :(

I'm still waiting for conditionally approved, it's just over 1 month since I applied online.

5 weeks and counting...

I applied for my wife and 6 children on May 31 and they're still not approved. I have a friend who applied on May 24 and still nothing.

Perhaps families take longer? I really wish there would be more updates then just "Pending Review." A few more like "Pending CPB review, "Pending CBSA review", and/or "Initial Review completed, Pending Final Review." would be much more useful. Should really have steps so applicants can follow better. Getting close to 6 weeks waiting now. Does anyone have a phone number or email address where I can contact to see how far along my family's applications are?

I have a feeling that it's Canada that takes their time. GE applications now take3-7 days to approve.

I just called both the Canadian and the US general information line and and for us, it is not the Canadian side holding things up but the US side. Our applications have been waiting for US approval for over a month now for all 4 of us. Canadian side was approved in 5-6 business days.

Is there anything a GE member has to do beyond submitting the application through GOES?

I ask because I got held up for months for Korean SES, because apparently submitting through GOES isn't enough -- you *also* have to (manually) create an account on the Korean Immigration Service website and then complete some information and pay on their side.

The upside is that the KIS is crazy efficient -- created the account, got conditional approval like two days later, interviewed the next day (two blocks from my hotel in Seoul), and the interview was very quick, most of which was them trying to take my picture with a camera that was a solid 1-2 feet too low for me. (I'm something of a giraffe...)

Just got off the phone with the Canadian general info line. She said it's taking 8-12 weeks currently. We are six weeks in (applied June 2) and neither the US nor Canada have begun looking at the application. She said it doesn't matter that they're 4 months old, everyone goes through the same process, 4 months or 94 years.

Question - If I have an appointment set already and want to see if I can reschedule for sooner can I do so without cancelling my existing appointment?

Yes, you should be able to just see the calendar.

Update:

My friend applied on May 27 and he got approved on July 13. I applied for my children on the 31'st so I assume my applications will be approved tomorrow or latest by the end of the week.

Hope the timeline is accurate but not holding my breath. I applied for our family of 4 on May 28th so I should see conditional approvals by end of this week if it holds true.

I applied in late June. Not expecting to hear anything for another month at least.
