In contradiction to the immediately previous post re: CLT.
July 16 2018: Walked in to the Charlotte office at 12:55pm, and there were 2 people at the window ahead of me. The first person was a walk-in and allowed to sign in. The second had a 1:00pm appointment. I asked if I could wait as a walk-in as well, and the person at the window gave me a different sheet to sign in, but allowed it. The person at the window was somewhat guarded about the chances, but I was in and out very quickly. The officer doing the interviews was very efficient and friendly. It helped that the walk-in before me hadn't done anything online ahead of time, and after discussing this with some people in the waiting room, crossed his name off and left to begin the application process. I will now attempt to update the wiki. |
ATL - Port Office Global Entry Enrollment Center
No (7/18/2018 11:00 AM) - Told they no longer accept walk-ins anymore in person. I have an appointment here in August and live in the area. Thought I'd give it a try but the office insisted I must have an appointment. Waiting room was fairly crowded. Oh well back to clicking refresh on the TTP site. ATL - Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport - International Terminal No (7/18/2018 11:30 AM) - Told they also no longer accept walk-ins anymore over the phone |

WAS (Reagan Building downtown)
19 July 2018, 12 noon, ~3 minute wait. Other person there had a noon appointment, but we were both seen simultaneously. There's a tiny museum display (offering some non-phone reading material) about the history of customs enforcement, plus the staff were friendly. Very glad I checked this site beforehand! |

Another reported success today, July 27, 2018, at the Ronald Reagan Building, Washington, D.C., Enrollment Center:

Thanks for the heads up. I went that route today, was in and out of the office in 35 minutes, with only 5 of that for the interview. Already received approval notice by the time I got home.

Yes. I got into the office at 11:10 and was out the door at 11:45.
It should be noted that when I got there, there was only one person ahead of me; by the time I left, there were 20 in there. Obviously, they took the appointments first as they showed up. I'd say more than half of the folks there were walk-ins. And, just for grins, the hardest question I got in the interview was "who's going to start at quarterback at Alabama this year" -- I had on a Bama shirt, and the officer was an LSU alum. |

Any recent experience on a walk in at DEN? I read from blogger no officially from 2016, post from here in 2017 that said no (though wiki said yes with family member with appt). Curious to find out any updates?

keep checking for cancellations (time slots opening up) !
can access calendar without logging into system Here is my question - your advice please Assuming I get my conditional and NO appoitments are available. Of course, I have printed out the wifes appoitment info. When I take her and I ask the interviewer the favor/question. Would it be Better IF I had a print out ALSO showing I have made an appoitment Later in the month or in January for Las Vegas. OR should I just print our that I ready for an appoitmennt but have NOT scheduled one OR maybe I make one for San Francisco later in the Month or in January I can always change or cancel an appoitment... Just not sure what would be better when I am asking for a favor or the Question,, "Can you squezze me in or just do my interview now as a walk in"? |
