Apparently JFK no longer acceptes walk-ins
Tried 6/15 6pm and 6/16 8am After signing in, a agent would come out and call everyone who indicates as walk-in that it's by appointment only form now on. |
Penn Station is completely booked for the short duration it'll be available and is by appt only. JFK, as I mentioned and others have confirmed, is appt only.

Successfully did walk-in interview at the DC center today (6/16 12:20pm). There were four officers working and only had to wait about 15 mins.
|
Over at Newark, they yell at you for standing by the door. You'll have to wait in the waiting area. Only by appointment.

Washington DC Enrollment Center at the Reagan Building:
Yes [0m] (07/01/2017 12:30 pm) Shocked and impressed nobody there on a Saturday afternoon. Officers were super quick and helpful. I think since they budget 15 minutes for interviews and they really only take about 6-7 minutes, in reality they seem to be able to handle walk-ins pretty easily. This is a great spot for anyone who can't get in elsewhere for a long time and maybe will be in DC for meetings or a conference. |

Late post (i.e. date is not a typo) -- This experience was indeed a month ago. --------------------- Yes [20m] (06/12/2017 3:45 pm) 4x officers working on a Monday afternoon who were all pleasant and helpful. About 8 people waiting; w/ about a 50:50 mix of "scheduled" vs "walk-ins" |

The wiki has been updated. Previous EWR should be = No (6/3/2017 11:30am w/ spouse who had an appointment) "We don't do walk-ins" New EWR data point = No (8/5/2017 11:15am 3yr old w/ mother who had appointment) My 3yr old daughter has her own appointment booked for next month. The officer in charge of checking people in allowed me to bring her in with me. But once I got to the interview officer, I was told they would not process my daughter. "We don't have her file ready and it can take a couple hours to request it." It was disappointing. I didn't understand why requesting a file on a 3yr old child in this day and age might take that long, but of course I couldn't question them. Sigh. |

My previous data point had a typo in it. >.< I'd written 2016 when I meant 2017. I only noticed it just now when I came back to report a new data point.
I've updated the wiki. |
At BWI, Yes, they accepted my walk-in on 8/9/17. They were also really courteous and answered the phone early in the morning before opening time.
